Amelia Martin

Amelia Angelette Martin, 88, a native and resident of Golden Meadow,
died at 4 p.m. Dec. 26, 2005.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor
Catholic Church in Golden Meadow. A Mass of Christian burial will be
celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial at the church
cemetery.

She is survived by her sons Gregory A. and Randolph J. Martin; sisters
Sally Danos, Velma Faulk and Priscilla Autin; five grandchildren; and
three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Martin; parents, Emile
Jr. and Sedonia Cheramie Angelette; sons Patrick Martin and Peter John
Martin; brother Emile Angelette III; and sisters Loretta A. Doucet, Eula
A. Rousse and Ola Phillies.

She loved fishing.
