David Earl Racine, Sr., 57, native of Pineville, LA and a resident of Houma, 
passed away on July 22, 2016.

Visitation will be held at Samart Funeral Home of Houma on Friday, July 29, 
2016 from 9am until 1pm. The funeral services will be held on Friday, July 29, 
2016 at Samart Funeral Home of Houma at 1pm. 

Burial will take place in Rogers Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Connie F. Pund Racine of 39 years; children, David 
Racine,Jr. and wife Diane, Angela Perera and husband Anthony, Joseph Racine, 
Patricia Chavira and husband Ignacio, Shawn Racine, Mark - Allen Racine and 
companion Caitlin Talbot; mother, Bettie Chelette; brothers, Leon Jr., Johnny, 
Raymond, Andrew, Reese Racine; sisters, Patsy Verdin, Shirley Ferrier, Donna 
Ricker, Linda Foret, Charlotte Scott; 9 grandchildren, David III, Mark, 
Alexander, Chloe, Javier, Cain, Aliana, Jonas, Liam; numerous nieces and 
nephews

He was preceded in death by his; brother, Steve; sisters, Olena and Dorothy; 
father and mother -in-law, Kenneth and Janet Pund; sister-in-law, Donna Hunt

In lieu of flowers donations to help with expenses.

Samart is in charge of arrangements.
