Elaine Stevens Babin, 71, was born on June 5, 1945 and passed away peacefully 
on October 30, 2016. 
She was a native and resident of Thibodaux, LA.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at St. Genevieve 
Catholic Church in Thibodaux from 8:30 AM until funeral time. A Mass of 
Christian Burial will take place at noon 

with burial to follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Thibodaux.

She is survived by her children, Lisa Babin Legleu and husband Kevin, Murry 
Babin, Jason Babin and wife Judith, Mark Babin and wife Sharon; grandchildren, 
Heather, Katie, Grant, Jace, and Mayson; siblings, James "Jim" Stevens, Phyllis 
Stevens Delise, Alex "Buddy" Stevens, and JoAnn Stevens; niece, Erika Stevens 
and nephews, Derek Stevens, Seth Delise, and Sean Delise.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Errol J. Babin and parents, 
Alexander and Louise Lasseigne Stevens.

She enjoyed spending her time with her family and friends and will be greatly 
missed by all who knew her.

Thibodaux Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with handling the funeral 
arrangements.
