Courtney Curole Prevost, 35, passed away after a long battle with Acute Myeloid 
Leukemia on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 12:55PM. Born, October 21, 1981, 
she was a native of Raceland and resident of Thibodaux.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 
8:00 PM at Ordoyne Funeral Home and on Friday, December 23, 2016 from 9:00 AM 
until service time at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church. Mass of Christian 
Burial will begin at 11:00 AM at the church 

with burial following at Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport.

She is survived by her husband, Todd Prevost, children, Bethany Collins, Reese 
Prevost, Kegan Prevost; parents, Twila Bergeron and John Bergeron; siblings, 
Candi Curole, Christy Danos; step brothers, Terry Bergeron, John David 
Bergeron, Scotty Bergeron; grandparents, Vesta Curole, Milton and Vera Folse; 
father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Carole Prevost; numerous nieces and 
nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Curtis Curole; grandfather, Alcee 
Curole.

She was a Patrol Lieutenant for the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office where she 
worked for 12 years. In addition to patrol she oversaw the creation of 
Safetyville at the Bayou Children's Museum. 
She enjoyed the outdoors, riding her motorbike, camping and cooking. 
She had a great love for her family, especially her husband, Todd and her 
children.
