LOBELL AND ALPHONSE MAYERS COB 6, PAGE 365 SALE OF LAND STATE OF LOUISIANA PARISH OF LIVINGSTON BE IT KNOWN, that on this 15th day of December, in the year of our Lord, Eighteen Hundred and Ninety, Before me, Joseph S. Hebert, a Notary Public in and for the Parish and State aforesaid, duly commissioned and sworn, and in presence of the witnesses hereinafter named and whose names are hereto affixed, personally came and appeared ADAM M. LOBELL, resident of the Parish of Livingston, State of Louisiana, who did declare and say that for the consideration and on the terms and coinditions hereinafter set forth he does by these presents grant, bargain, sell, convey, transfer and assign and set over, with a full warrantee against all troubles, debts, morgages, erections, donations, alienations or other encumbrances whatsoever unto: ALEXANDER LAMBERT, LEONCE P. LOBELL and ALPHONSE MAYERS, representing the Catholics of the Parish and to their successors in Office, residents of the Parish of Livingston, State of Louisiana, who here present accepting and purchasing for themselves their heirs and assigns, and acknowledging delivery and possession thereof, the following described property, to-wit: A certain tract of land situated in the Town of French Settlement, State and Parish, aforesaid; thus fronting on the public road twelve (12) feet wide running back from said road to the Catholic Grave yard., bounded North by L.M. Lobell, South by the Vendor, East by the Public Road., and West by the said Grave Yard. The same to be used as a road to and from the said Catholic Grave Yard. To have and to hold the said described property unto the said purchasers, their heirs and assigns, to their proper use and behoof forever. This sale is made for and in consideration of the price and sum of THIRTY DOLLARS ($30.00) cash in hand paid for which the vendor acknowledges receipt thereof. The certificate of Mortgage required by act 3364 of the Civil Code of Louisiana is hereby waived by the parties and me Notary exonerated. Thus done and passed in presence of L.M. Lobell, and Timothy Lobell, competent witnesses who hereunto sign their names together with the parties and me, Notary, after reading thereof. WITNESSES: L.M. LOBELL A.M.
