Funeral Homes Monroe, LA June 14, 2020
Funeral
services for David Creed, Sr., 79, of Monroe will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday,
June 15, 2020 at North Monroe Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Silver
Cross Cemetery, Tallulah, LA. Rev. Warren Eckhart and Rev. Kenneth Clark will
be officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until service time at the
church.
David was
executive director of the North Delta Regional Planning and Development District
and served in the National Guard. David was preceded in death by his parents,
Owen “Duck” and Tessie Creed.
David is
survived by his wife of 45 years, Billie Creed; son David A. Creed, Jr.;
daughters Tammie Lynn Courville and husband Mike and
Brittani Laneigh Creed and fiancé Tyson Baldwin;
granddaughter Ashlynn Elizabeth Courville;
sister Connie Creed Parker and husband Mike.
Pallbearers
will be Keith Ginn, Kenneth Holland, Doug Mitchell,
Phillip Odom, Brad Tynes, Andy Vining,
Byron Vining and Robbie Waxman.
Honorary
pallbearers will be Johnny Derrick and Keith Guice.
