Tommy E. Hetland,
75, of Montrose, died Thursday, June 6, 2019. Mr. Hetland
was a native of Tallulah, Louisiana, a resident of Montrose for 50 years and a
veteran of the United States Navy. Mr. Hetland
was a farmer and he attended the Portland Baptist Church. His family was
very important to him and he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He is preceded in
death by his parents, James and Louise Ashley Hetland and a sister, Margo White.
He is survived by his
wife of 50 years, Kay Rice Hetland of Montrose; two
daughters, Nicole Menard of Pocahontas and Tabitha Hetland
of Texas; a brother, Ashley Hetland and wife, Pamela,
of Maine; two grandchildren, Jordan Kay Menard and Ty Menard and a host of
nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are
10 a.m., Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at the Portland Baptist Church with Bro. David
Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in the Montrose Cemetery.

to the Montrose Cemetery Association, c/o Rita Chandler, 133 Lynn Road,
Portland, AR 71663.
Visitation is 9-10-
a.m., Tuesday at the church.
