Moore, Jr. Madison Parish, LA April 30, 1954 ~ August 2, 2019 (age 65) From Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home August 6, 2019 Funeral services for Mr. Loyd T. Moore, Jr., age 65, will be Thursday, August 8, 2019, at 10:00 a.m., at First Baptist Church in Tallulah with Bro. Jason Lupo officiating, assisted by Charles Stamey. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 7, 2019, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Loyd was born in Ferriday, Louisiana and was a lifelong resident of Tallulah. He was a mechanic and tow truck driver that helped as many people as he could. He was an important part of the Tallulah community and will be missed greatly. The family would just like to remind people to move over for service vehicles as they provide emergency services. He was preceded in death by his parents, Loyd Moore, Sr., and Annis Moore, his wife, Sharon Moore, three brothers, and one sister. Survivors include his son, Todd Moore (Ginnie), three daughters, Dasha Savage (Don), Rhonda Petty (Kenneth Wayne), and Carla Ray, grandchildren, Jack, Allyson, Christine, Kenneth, Justin, and Zachary, six great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and one sister, Sadie Moore. Pallbearers are Carl Tarver, James Dawson, Shelby Holmes, Charles Finlayson, Larry Jones, and Ronnie McLain. Honorary pallbearers are Red Beard, Blake Bell, Eddie Cedatol, Artis Rose, Harold Murphy, Bodie McDonald, and Ted Hill.
