Funeral services for Mr.
James Vincent Morgan, 73 of Tallulah, LA will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday,
March 2, 2020 at the Waverly Baptist Church with Bro. Marion Spence
officiating.
Visitation will be held at Waverly Baptist Church on Monday, March 2nd from
10:00 AM until time of service.
Burial with Military Honors will follow at the Northeast Louisiana Veteran's
Cemetery in Rayville, LA under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Delhi.
Mr. Morgan was born in New Orleans, LA on October 3, 1946 and passed peacefully
from this life to be with his Lord and Savior on February 28, 2020 at
Cornerstone Hospital in West Monroe, LA. He was a member of Waverly Baptist
Church since moving to Madison Parish at the age of 10 where he was a faithful
member as long as he was able to attend.
James served his country in the US Army in Vietnam and Cambodia where he was
awarded Purple Heart, Bronze Star and 9 other medals.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene A. Morgan and Dorothy Fascio Morgan.
He is survived by Randy Morgan (Belinda) of Tallulah, Sonny (Claudia) Morgan of
Delhi, LA and many other cousins and friends.
