October 9, 1930 - September 6, 2018


Funeral services for Mrs. Bonnie Walker Wells, age 87, will be Monday, September 10, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Tallulah, with visitation one hour before the service from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah.

Mrs. Wells began her career as a secretary for Walker and Wells before opening her own business, The Wagon Wheel Restaurant in Tallulah that served many of its residents and she was a librarian for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Milner Wells and her parents, Albert “Blondie” and Donnie Walker.

Survivors include one daughter, Connie Whitley and husband, Scott, three sons, Larry Wells and wife, Arlene, Donald Wells and wife, Laura Kate, and Kenny Wells and wife, Patty, 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Scott Whitley, James Wells, Don Wells, Clint Teague, K C Cox, and Matt Guidry.
