KELLIE FOWLER WILLIAMMEE KELLIE FOWLER WILLIAMMEE Williams Funeral Directors Garland, Texas Kellie Fowler Williammee Age 34, born October 27, 1972 in West Monroe, LA to Roy Fowler and Lana Geraldine Kirkland. Kellie passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on June 28, 2007 in Garland, TX. Both her parents preceded her in death. Survived by husband Ed Williammee; daughter Logan Llanos; sisters, Kim Pardue and Karen Graves and husband, Dee Washington, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. Family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 1, 2007 at Williams Funeral Directors. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, July 2, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. in Williams Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in Garland Memorial Park.

MATHILDE GENEVIEVE "MATTIE" WATSON MATHILDE GENEVIEVE "MATTIE" WATSON Schaetter Funeral Home Fredericksburg, Texas Mathilde Genevieve "Mattie" Watson, 63, of Fredericksburg, died Thursday following a lengthy illness. Mattie was born November 13, 1943 in St. Martinville, La. She grew up in neighboring Breaux Bridge, where she graduated from St. Bernard High School in 1961. Following graduation, Mattie attended the Mercy School of Nursing in New Orleans graduated in 1964. She worked in Austin until 1969, when she met and married Jim Watson. Mattie and Jim had two children, Peter Watson of Jackson, Tenn., and Kathy Bernice of San Marcos. During their life together, they lived in Big Spring, Texas and Monroe, La., before retiring in Fredericksburg in 1999. Mattie was very active in the community and her church, Memorial Presbyterian. In addition to her church work, she was a volunteer with the auxiliary at the Hill Country Memorial Hospital and the Saur-Beckman Farm at the LBJ State Historic Park. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. Mattie was preceded in death by her parents, Genevieve and Claymar Morvant of Breaux Bridge, La., and by her husband, Jim. She is survived by two brothers, Dane and Deborah Morvant, Paul and Mary Ann Morvant of Breaux Bridge, and a sister, Carolyn Rhodes of Jasper, Texas. She also is survived by her children, Peter and Kathy, and their spouses, Sarah Watson and Daryle Bernice. Mattie had four grandchildren, Sarah Navarro and Nicholas Bernice of San Marcos, and Riley and Elizabeth Gobelet of Jackson, TN. Memorial Service for Mattie Watson will be held on Monday, July 2nd at 12:00 noon in the Memorial Presbyterian Church, Fredericksburg with the Rev. Bob Bruce officiating. In lieu of flowers the family wishes that memorials be given in her memory to the Hill Country Memorial Hospital Hospice or to the charity of your choice. Celebrating the life of Elvy Halley Moore Campbell, 76, will be held at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel in West Monroe on Monday July 2, 2007 at 1:00 PM. Rev. Elvy was born March 21, 1931, in Baskin, La. In 1949 she moved to the Twin Cities to attend Louisiana Business College and became a self employed tax accountant and bookkeeper spanning for over fifty years. She met and married Walter L. Moore and had five children. She was a faithful servant to our Lord attending Highland Baptist Church for thirty five years and Bethal Baptist Church for twenty years. A true lady in every sense of the word illuminating every room she entered. She made everyone feel welcome and important. She loved singing Acapella at every chance to praise the Lord. She is preceded in death by her parents, Evrett C. Halley and Ophelia F. Halley, brothers A.C. Halley, Chester "Bud" Halley, C.L. Halley, O.C. Halley, sisters, Martha Garett, Odell Allen Wilson, Ethel Fatheree, Louise Farmer. She is survived by her children, Ronald L. Moore, Walter M. Moore, Russell D. Moore, Donna Moore Cassels, Marianne Moore Johnson. Two dear nieces Ernestine Wilson and Evelyne Williams who were raised with her like sisters. Her precious grand children, Christy Moore Gilbert, Daniel Vann, David Vann, Scott Moore, Amanda Johnson, Matthew Cassels, Christian Johnson, great grand daughter, Caleigh Gilbert, also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends she thoroughly enjoyed throughout her life. Prior to moving to Monroe, LA 15 years ago, Ms. Hollis and her family resided in the New Orleans area for many years. She passed away Saturday, June 30, 2007 from complications following bypass surgery at St. Francis Hospital. Judy served as an elder at First Presbyterian Church, Monroe, LA having also served in the same role at Parkway Presbyterian in New Orleans, prior to moving to Monroe. She was also an active member of the Ouachita Parish Republican Women's Club. A 1964 graduate of Louisiana Tech, Judy was a member of the Phi Mu Sorority. Ms. Hollis was preceded in death by parents Elizabeth Munger Beasley and Arthur Paul Beasley and an infant son, Charles Paul Hollis. Judy is survived by three sons, their spouses/ partners and three wonderful grandchildren; Jesse K. "Trey" Hollis and Jill Daniels Hollis of Fayetteville, AR, and their two children, Mason and Abby; Michael Christopher Hollis and Marty Brantley of New Orleans, LA; Paul Bryan Hollis and Ashley Tastet Hollis, also of New Orleans, LA and their daughter, Bryanne. Mr. Johnson is retired from The Manville Corporation in West Monroe, LA where he was employed for 29 years. Leonard was a lifetime servant of His Lord Jesus Christ. He never tired of always being active in every aspect of the Church he loved so much. He served as a Deacon for over 63 years and was a charter member of The First Baptist Church of Los Alamos, NM. He taught Sunday School for over 60 years. He loved music from early childhood. The old songs were his passion till the end. Love for his God and his family were always the driving forces in our Daddy's life. He served both with undying honor, sacrifice, commitment and grace. He was a man of unparalleled principal, undying faith and deep commitment. He never tired of doing God's work as well as looking out for his family. Mr. Johnson served in a civilian conservation corp in Dodson, and was a United States Navy Veteran, serving his country bravely, during World War II as a Signalman in the Atlantic and Pacific arenas. He is preceded in death by his son Freddie Lee Johnson; father, William Doner Johnson; mother, Mary Elizabeth (Bessie) Johnson; and sister, Ruby Irene Hudgins. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Dena Maloy Johnson; two sons, Leonard Lance Johnson and William Stephen "Max" Johnson and wife Carole, both of Calhoun, LA; four daughters, Mitzi Lanita George of West Monroe, LA, Karen Elizabeth Townsend and husband Kenneth of Crossett, AR, Lillian Kathleen Brough of Calhoun, LA, and Marilyn Rose Stephenson and husband Rick of Whitehall, AR. Margie Bell McDonald was born on July 21, 1909 and was raised in Mangham, LA on Sligo Farm. She passed away on July 1, 2007. Margie attended school in Mangham in a one-room schoolhouse, and graduated in 1926 as Valedictorian of her class. After graduation, she attended Monroe Business College and studied bookkeeping. While employed with Stucky Tire Co., she met and married Kenneth Ellis McDonald, Sr. They later opened McDonald Tire Co. and station with a hardware store in Bastrop. They resided there for 55 years moving to Mangham in 1985. She became a Life Member of the Wesley Service Guild of the Methodist Church of Bastrop, LA in 1950. Mrs. McDonald was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth E. McDonald, Sr.; parents, Bob and Nerissa Bell; Son, Robert "Bobby" McDonald; Brothers, Bob Bell, Jr. and Mike Bell; and sister, Katie Bell Heady. Survivors include; Son: Kenneth E. McDonald, Jr. and wife, Monita. Grandsons: Dr. Kenneth E. McDonald III, and wife, Linda. Gary McDonald, and wife Joyce. Jody McDonald, and wife, Cherie. Granddaughter: Monita Alice Windham. James Cockman, were evangelists for the Assemblies of God Church. They traveled extensively throughout the United States before becoming Pastor of a mission church, Berea Temple in St. Louis, MO. Mary lived her entire life in ministerial duties. She served in her beloved church, Berea Temple Assembly of God, as a Sunday School teacher for fifty years. She also was a church pianist and organist, plus she shared her musical gifts with others as a piano teacher. She felt honored to serve her Lord as she accompanied her sister and brother-in-law, Rev. Lowell Ashbrook and Edna Ashbrook, on a number of mission trips. As well as doing God's work, Mary's gracious heart and faith aided her in her career of thirty years as a social worker and Management Supervisor for Missouri Division of Family Services in St. Louis. Although she worked outside the home, caring for her family was always a priority to her and greatest joy. They will miss her gentle demeanor, smiling face and welcoming hospitality. She was a gifted hostess and there was always room for one more at her table. The love and wonderful memories she has created for her family will never be forgotten. She was a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a Degree in Sociology. She worked in Shreveport as a Social Worker until she moved to Ruston and married her husband of forty-two years, Henry "Tootie" Null. She was a mother to five children and a homemaker. Later, she worked at Emmanuel Baptist Daycare as the Bible teacher for many years. She also taught Bible at Bethel Christian School. As a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, she led women in Bible study until she was no longer able to teach. Mrs. Null was instrumental in the opening of the Simsboro First Baptist Preschool by donating funds and Bible teaching materials so that many more children would continue to learn how much Jesus loves them. Mrs. Null was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two infant siblings Billy and Doris Crawley, and one grandson, Richard Squyres. Survivors include daughters: Debbie Masterman of Florence, MS, Mary Colvin of Rogers, AR, Patricia Squyres and husband, Sam, of Simsboro, LA; sons: Charles Null of Ruston, and Andy Null and wife, Mary Jo, of Ruston; sisters: Peggy and husband, F.E. (Bubba), Van Hook of Arcadia, LA, and Dot and husband, Tommy Mounger, of Arcadia, LA, and brother Otis Leon (Skip) Crawley, Jr. of Arcadia, LA. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe, LA. Clayton was born on June 7, 1932 in Pleasant Valley, LA, and passed away on July 5, 2007 in Monroe, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents: Rosa and Marvin Tedeton; grandson, Easy "Tee" Tedeton; and, three brothers: Marvin Tedeton, Jr., Holly Hayes Tedeton, and Gary Tedeton. Survivors include his beloved wife of fifty-three years, Patsy Jean Calhoun Tedeton, of West Monroe; daughters: Deborah T. Davis and husband, Donald, of Pleasant Valley, Pamela T. Savage of Calhoun; son: Byron "Kirk" Tedeton, Sr. and wife, Pamela "Sue", of Pleasant Valley; granddaughter: Brandy Lynn Davis; and, grandsons: Byron "Kirk" Tedeton, Jr., Patrick Michael Savage, and Brian Francis Savage. Clayton was called home to be with the Lord shortly after midnight on July 5, 2007, after suffering a stroke on July 1, 2007 while working in his flowers at his home in West Monroe. As was his nature, Clayton fought strongly, with his loved ones by his side, right until the Lord called him home to receive his reward and to be with those loved ones who had gone before him. Clayton was a graduate of Calhoun High School, and was recently voted at this class reunion to be that school's "Best Basketball and Volleyball Player". He served with the Marine Corps in Korea during the Korean Conflict. Clayton was the founder of the "Miracle II" Products. After many years in business as a rental property owner and brick distributor, Clayton was called of God to surrender his life to God's work. In July, 1981, God revealed to Clayton the formulation for the "Miracle II" Products. From the day he gave his life to the Lord and to His work until the day he died, Clayton walked closely with the Lord and served Him as a strong,vocal, uncompromising messenger of the Power of God to save, change, and heal people throughout the world. Clayton touched the lives of countless people worldwide through his ministry, testimony, and steadfast service to God. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. The family extends a very sincere and heartfelt "thank you" to the staff of the SICU at St. Francis Downtown Hospital for their compassionate care of their father during this very difficult time. Joseph Puthuppally officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Inzina passed away Saturday, July 7, 2007, at Landmark Nursing Home in West Monroe. He was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church, and the U. S. Army serving in the 782nd Tank Battalion during WWII. He worked for Howard Griffin for 50 years retiring in 1980. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, but his favorite hobby was working on outboard motors at his home. Everyone who knew him loved him and he will be dearly missed. Mr. Inzina was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Roberts Inzina; son, Anthony "Smokey" Inzina, Jr.; and numerous brothers and sisters. ALEX M. WADE Miller Funeral Home Monroe, LA Brother Alex Melvin "A.M." Wade, Sr. was born on April 8, 1927 to the union of the late Lemle Wade, Sr. and Alice Mae Moy Wade in Walls Lake, LA. At an early age, he became a member of the Mt. Horeb Missionary Baptist Church and confessed Christ as his Personal Savior. He later united with Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, where he was an active member of the Usher Ministry until his health declined. For forty-five and a half years, he worked for International Mineral Chemical (IMC), where he made history by becoming the first black supervisor. He later retired in l989. He loved his job and often spoke of the length of his employment. He would often say, "I worked forty-five and one-half years". He was an avid gardener, who loved working in his yard and doing handy work for others. He married Lorine Davenport. To this union, nine children were born. He later married Cornelia Jiles. To this union, five children were born. Mr. Wade was preceded in death by his parents, Lemle Wade, Sr. and Alice Moy Wade; one wife, Lorine Davenport; one son, Danny Wade; five brothers, Julius Wade, Amburson Wade, Elbert Wade, Walter V. Wade, and Odell Wade; one sister, Jessie Wade Hamlin; and, one daughter-in-law, Patricia Wade. He leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Cornelia Wade; seven sons, Shelly Wade, Alex Wade, Jr., Charles Wade and Gary Wade, all of Houston, TX, Liberace Wade (Renae) of Baton Rouge, LA, Roderick Smith (Meiko), and Alex D. EDWARD T. PHILLIPS Kilpatrick Funeral Home Farmerville, LA On Sunday,July 8, 2007, Edward T. Phillips answered his Savior's request to join Him in His Everlasting Kingdom. Ed was a man that called everyone he met a friend, and is best known for his kind words and gracious remarks. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him and especially those who loved him. Ed was born June 23, 1919 to Henry Lee and Elvie E. Phillips in Farmerville, LA. He passed away Sunday afternoon July 8, 2007, at Live Oak Retirement Center in Shreveport, LA. During his 88 years on this earth, Ed had a variety of vocations that kept him active and involved in society. Starting out as a young man, Ed volunteered for the Army and served honorably in both WWII and the Korean War. Shortly after discharge, he joined the United States Postal Service and dutifully fulfilled his postal rounds. The call of entrepreneurship beckoned Ed to his next calling when he became owner/ proprietor of a busy Gulf Oil station in Farmerville. In addition to the above, Ed was elected as a Union Parish Police Juror for numerous terms. While not widely known as a farmer or a gardener, he was very adept at both and won many awards for his produce and flower gardens. One award that Ed cherished beyond all others was his award for the Oldest Working Employee in Union Parish. Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Lee and Elvie Phillips; his brothers, Henry, Roy, Fred, and R.J.; and, his sister, Maxine. Ed is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Aline Albritton Phillips, and their daughter, Peggy Gavin and her husband, Greg; grandson, Chuck Mullins and his wife, Kim; their children, Rory and Jaden Mullins. He is also survived by his brother, Bill Phillips. Pallbearers will be: Chuck Mullins, Greg Gavin, Jerry Downing, Johnny Bridges, Trey Roberson, and Greg Phillips. She and daddy lived in Louisiana all their lives having resided in Lafayette,Coushatta, Natchitoches, Monroe, Baton Rouge and New Orleans. She was an excellent cook, seamstress and gardener. We loved her Banana Pudding, Mississippi Mud Pie, Guacamole dip, Shrimp Po-Boys and we loved her. The last several years mother resided at Parthenon Healthcare of Fort Walton with Alzheimer's. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lt. Col. OJ and Sandy Davis of Fort Walton Beach, FL; and daughter and son-in-law, George and Debbie Cox of Lilburn, GA. She is also survived by her grandsons, Cory Davis and his wife Courtney of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Brad Davis and his wife Victoria of Flower Mound, TX; who gave her a namesake great-granddaughter, Francis Evelyn "Frankie" Davis; and her granddaughters, Brittany and Allison Cox of Lilburn, Georgia. Mr. Bedenbaugh was a member through his working life of the International Union of Operating Engineers, and worked as a crane and dragline operator on many landmark projects in Northern Louisiana and Mississippi such as Mississippi River levees and Old River Project, I-20 bridges over the Mississippi and Ouachita Rivers, Lafourche Bayou dredging, construction projects at area paper mills in West Monroe and Bastrop, and many other industrial and civil construction projects in the area. Mr. Cogdell is preceded in death by his father, Roger Cogdell; father-in-law, Eugene McLain; and, brother, Philip Cogdell. Interment to follow at Beulah Cemetery, Calhoun, LA, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home. Mrs. Audirsch was born March 14, 1938 in Calhoun, LA, and died July 12, 2007 in Calhoun, LA. Roselyn was preceded in death by her husband of over fifty years Franklin Delano Audirsch; father, Earl Purdy; and mother, Lois Purdy. She was a member of Family Church in West Monroe. Survivors include her daughter, Karen Audirsch Smith of Calhoun, LA; son, Keith Delano Audirsch and wife, Pamela Audirsch, of Collinston, LA; brother, Carey Don Purdy and wife, Pricilla, of Calhoun, LA; nephews, Donald Purdy and wife, Jennifer, Danny Purdy and wife, Ouida, David Purdy and wife Rachel, and special nephew, Kevin Audirsch; and numerous nieces and nephews; and, four special god-grandchildren, Amelia Purdy, Codey Purdy, AnaClaire Purdy and Seth Purdy. Pallbearers will be Hugh Calhoun, J.N. Crocker, Albert Wells, Dee Hogan, John Perry Brooks and Tim Thompson. Memorials may be made to Louisiana Baptist Children's Home. NORMA H. SANDERSON Southern Funeral Home Jonesboro, LA Mrs. Norma H. Sanderson, age 83, of Eros, died at Jackson Parish Hospital in Jonesboro following a brief illness. Mrs. Sanderson was born near Eros, to the late James Abner Fuller and the late Eunice Venevia Gaston Fuller. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother and was a member of Community of Christ Church. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 14, 2007, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Community of Christ Church near Eros. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, July 15, 2007, at the church with High Priests Ellis Lewis and Shelton Coleman officiating.
