J. Anding Dies; Rites Saturday

Jesse Otis Anding, 70, of 1134 Evergreen St., West Monroe died Thursday at St. Francis Hospital after a brief illness.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Monroe with Brother Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery near Calhoun.

Survivors include his widow, Myrtle Smith Anding of West Monroe; one son, Donald B. Anding of West Monroe; five daughters, Mrs. Nell Manning, Mrs. Jessamine Leonard, Mrs. Betty Odom all of West Monroe; Mrs. Melba May of Meteria, Mrs. Lynn Young of Buras; two brothers, Lee Anding and Jim Anding both of West Monroe; two sisters, Mrs. Lovelaa Wood and Johnnie Greer both of West Monroe; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
