Headline: Fordham Rites Scheduled Today
Mrs. Sallie R. Fordham,
87, of Route One, West Monroe, died 10:55 a.m. Saturday at her home
after a short illness.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Zeer (Zoar) Methodist Church, near Chatham, with the Rev. Falcon Hearne officiating, assisted by the Rev. Tillman Brown and the Rev. Harold Cook. Burial will be Zeer (Zoar) Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.
Survivors are three sons, all of West Monroe, Marshall Fordham, W. E. Fordham, J. D. Fordham; two daughters, Mrs. J. E. Hearne, Ruston; Mrs. F. L. Lawrence, West Monroe, 23 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
She was the wife of the late Rev. Jerry Fordham, a Methodist Minister.
