 Mrs. Ernie May Dies; Funeral Rites Pending

Mrs. Ernie Coates May, 77, of 127 Reagan St., West Monroe, died in Glenwood Hospital early today after a lengthy illness. Funeral arrangements are incomplete under the direction of Mulhearn's Funeral Home of West Monroe.

Mrs. May was a native of Caldwell Parish and had been a resident of West Monroe for several years. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, William M. May, West Monroe; two sisters, Mrs. Vera Presley and Miss Monique Coates, both of West Monroe; two brothers, Dyche Coats (sic, Coates) of Columbia, and Ellis W. Coates of Guatemala.
