May Services Set For Today
Funeral services for Mrs. Irma May,
77, of Rt. 7, West Monroe, will be at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of
Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Monroe with the Revs. George Womack and
Charles Davis officiating.
Burial will be in Pleasant Grove
Cemetery at Choudrant for Mrs. May who died Monday at Riverside Nursing
Home in Monroe after a short illness.
Mrs. May was a native of
Choudrant and was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Mr. Fred A. May of West Monroe; one son,
Billy Hancock of Houston, Texas; four step-sons, Roy Edward May of
Houston, Texas, Joe Alvin May of Monroe, Willie Lee May of San
Francisco, Calif. And Freddie Lee May of San Diego, Calif.; two
brothers, J. W. Sanderson of West Monroe and Walton R. Sanderson of
Choudrant; two grandchildren.
