May Funeral to be Held Here Today

Mrs. Lillian A. May, 81, a native of Mississippi died at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Georgia Street Nursing Home in Monroe. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today in the chapel of the Hixson Brothers Funeral Home with the Rev. Leon Ivey officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park in Monroe.

Survivors include three sons, Alton O. May of Monroe, W.E. May of Jonesboro, and R.R. May of Lucedale, Miss.; two daughters, Mrs. Ora Cole of Long Island, N.Y. and Mrs. Wilma Brown of Hodge; two brothers, Hubert Wroten of Baton Rouge and Owen Wroten of Bude, Minn.; one sister, Mrs. Ellen Carpenter of Brookhaven, Miss.; 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.
