Services for Mrs. Winnie Hearn May, 92, West Monroe, will be at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 1990, at Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel in West Monroe, LA, with Rev. Johnny Hankins officiating. Burial will be in Hasley Cemetery.

Mrs. May died Tuesday, April 4, 1990, in West Monroe Guest house after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. May was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church in West Monroe, LA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Burkett May.

Survivors include: two daughters: Mrs. Opal Kelly of West Monroe; Mrs. Lorene Patrick of West Monroe; six sons: Mr. Harlon May of Homer, LA; Mr. Winston May; Mr. Kenneth May; Mr. Theo May; Mr. Bill May, all of West Monroe, LA; Mr. Freeland May of Houston, TX; 26 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren.

The grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time.

Winnie was the daughter of John Fletcher HEARN and Mary Adeline SANDERS. Winnie Mae HEARN MAY was married to Harvey Burkett MAY, son of Joseph Harvey MAY and Caroline Lavenia CHAPPEL MAY.
