Services for Mr. C. L. Norman, Sr., 75, of West Monroe were held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 10, 1996 at Owens Memorial Chapel, Ruston, with Rev. Tim Johnson officiating. Burial was in Ogden Cemetery, Liddieville, LA under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.
Mr. Norman died Monday, July 8, 1996 at his residence after a lengthy illness.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Choudrant.
Survivors include his wife Mrs. Ollene Norman of West Monroe; three sons: Ernest Norman and Donald r. Norman of Choudrant and Charles (Chuck) Norman of West Monroe; two daughters: Charlene Brakefield of West Monroe and Lisa Young of Nevada; one brother: Nathan Norman of Liddieville; three sisters: Threasa Simon of Winnsboro, Daisy Underwood of Liddieville and Juanita Wright of Liddieville; eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Charles was the son of Charles Quitman NORMAN & Rosa MCBROOM POWELL NORMAN. He married Ollene SUTTON on 7 Jun 1946 in Franklin Parish LA.
