Services for Mr. William B. “Bill” Rainer Sr., 69, of Monroe will be at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, 1992 at Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel, Sterlington Rd. with Rev. James L. Kidd officiating. Burial will be in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Rainer died Tuesday, January 14, 1992 in Monroe after a sudden illness.
Mr. Rainer was a veteran of World War II, a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. He was retired from IMC Corp. Mr. Rainer was a member of Cruzin’ Cajuns Motor Home Club, Happy Times Motor Home Club, Northeast Dance Club, the Moose Lodge and The National Guard.
Survivors include his wife: Juanita West Rainer, Monroe; sons and daughters-in-law: Bill Jr. and Rebecca Rainer, Vicksburg, MS, Robert and Sue Rainer, Monroe; daughter; Jan Rainer, Monroe; sister: Betty Haynes, West Monroe; brother: Thomas E. Rainer, Sterlington, LA; sisters-in-law: Rose West, Metairie, LA and Edie Rainer, Ruston, LA; mother-in-law and father-in-law: Gertrude and Sam West, Grayson, LA; grandchildren: Kristi and Jason Rainer, Fort Myers, FL, Shannon and Brandy Davis, Vicksburg, MS; Scott and Sam Rainer, Monroe, LA; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Wylie Moore, O. G. Gammill, R. W. Gregory, R. A. Rigsby, Mitch Antley, and Ben Cooper. Honorary Pallbearers will be Cleve Cornett, Dick Foster, and members of the Happy Times Motor Club.
Visitation will be 8:00 a.m. Wednesday until service time.
Memorials may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church or your favorite charity.
