Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. today in Temple Baptist Church of Crossett, Ark., for Luther L. Rogers, 61, who died at his home in Crossett, Wednesday following a heart attack. Burial will be in Pinewood Memorial Park under the direction of Jones Funeral Home.
Among the survivors of Mr. Rogers, who was employed by the Crossett paper mill, are a sister, Mrs. Oriean Boyd, Monroe, and a brother, Cortez Rogers, West Monroe. Other survivors include his widow, Mrs. Doyce Rogers, Crossett; one son, Donald Rogers, Crossett; three daughters, Mrs. Carol Bahara, Mission Hills, Calif.; Mrs. Linda Wendland, Palo Alto, Calif.; Mrs. Barbara Chambers, New Orleans; three other brothers, Ezra Rogers, Burkville, Tex.; John Rogers, Orange, Tex.; Rufus Rogers, Winnfield; three other sisters, Mrs. Zelma Cade, Beaumont, Tex.; Mrs. Audrey Gaston, Bridge City, Tex.; Mrs. Inez Haynes, Haughton, La., and eight grandchildren.
Luther married Doyce Minnie MAY on 13 Jan 1928.
