Shreveport, La. - Mr. William Edward Rowell, Sr., died at Garden Park Nursing Home on November 22, 1991. Visitation will be held at Osborn Funeral Home at 3631 Southern Ave., Sunday, November 24, 1991. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 25, 1991, at Osborn Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Floyd Harris. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Ringgold, LA.

Mr. Rowell, Sr., was a native of Shreveport and a resident of this area for the past 72 years. He was a member of the Southside Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Merdie Rowell; and is survived by one daughter, Mary Joyce Grover; two sons, Wallace R. and W. E. Rowell, Jr., grandchildren, Dollie Virginia Knoerr, Sean Joyce Grover, Dale Lawrence Grover and Alan William Grover.

Pallbearers will be: A. T. Bunn, Tom Seeger, Howard Hughes, Glen Vance, J. B. Avery and T. W. Fountain.
