JEANPIERRE,   MARIE GERTRUDE MODELISTE

A homemaker and resident of New Roads, she died at 11:10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov.
26, 1997, at Pointe Coupee General Hospital, New Roads. She was 94 and a
native of Arbroth. Visiting at Pointe Coupee Funeral Home, New Roads, 8 a.m.
to 10:30 a.m. Monday. Religious services at St. Augustine Catholic Church at
11 a.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. Raymond Woodka, S.S.J. Interment in St.
Augustine Cemetery. Survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Paul Jr. and Joyce
Jeanpierre; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Helen and Alex Sutton, Sally
and James Perkins, Ora Lee Sneed and Augusta and Charles Ladmirault, all of
New Roads; a sister, Eula Williams, New Orleans; a sister-in-law, Julia Louis,
New Roads; 18 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and six great-great-
grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by husband, Paul Jeanpierre Sr.; parents, Cyril and America
Modeliste; two grandsons, four brothers and two sisters. She was a member of
St. Augustine Catholic Church and United Brothers Benevolent Society.
