Alford, Mrs Mattie Lee Lindsey - Died 9 a.m. Sunday, Jan 5, 1986, at her residence in Kentwood. She was 74, a native of Liverpool.  Visiting at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood 5 to 10 p.m. Monday, and 8 a.m. to religious services at 11 a.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev Allen betz burial in Alford Cemetery.

Survived by husband, shelby "Bumbo" Alford, Kentwood, a daughter, Mrs. Sam Shirley rowe, Livingston, a son, Shelby Gene alford, Kentwood, a sister Mrs A d Smith, Jackson, a brother, Willie Decker Lindsey, ersey city, N J, five grandchildren, ad four great-grandcildren.
