Funeral services for Resto (sic Rasto) L. Norman, 57, of Dunn who died of an apparent heart attack in Delhi, Wednesday, July 18, were held in the chapel of Adkins First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro at 3 p.m. Friday, July 20.

Norman, who was a veteran of World War II, was buried in the Ogden Cemetery in Liddieville.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Norman of Dunn; a son, Ray Norman of Rayville; a daughter, Miss Kay Norman of Rayville; a step-daughter, Mrs. Kathleen Parker of Dunn; three brothers, Elmer Norman of Omaha, Neb.; a step-brother, R.J. Powell of Monroe; four sisters, Mrs. Daisy Underwood of Winnsboro, Mrs. Theresa Simon of Raceland, La., Mrs. Juanita Wright of Hartford, Calif., and Mrs. Geneva Malone of Houston, Tex.; and a grandson.

Pallbearers were Jerry Underwood, S.V. McKibbens, John Bearden, Norman Underwood, Ernest Norman and Charles Norman.

Tobe was the son of Charles Leonard NORMAN & Rosa MCBROOM POWELL NORMAN. He married (1) Nannie Ruth BRANCH on 4 Jul 1943 in LaSalle Parish LA, and (2) Myrtle HOBEN COATS.
