I hope we are able to help you in your family history research. This site, like all USGenWeb sites, is dedicated to the availability of public records for public viewing. Genealogy is a lot of fun, but it should not cost a lot of money for public records.
If you have records or sources of information about Red River Parish and its pioneers, I would love to have you share your information with us. If you are willing to look up information for other people, please let me know so I can put the people in touch with you. If you have comments, questions, or suggestions, you can contact Marsha Bryant, and we will see if we can get together.
You may also use the automatic Submission forms for submitting to the LAGenWeb Archives at Our Genrecords site to submit information that you wish to donate.
In March and April, 1996, a group of genealogists organized the Kentucky Comprehensive Genealogy Database. The idea was to provide a single entry point for all counties in Kentucky, where collected databases would be stored. In addition, the databases would be indexed and cross-linked, so that even if an individual were found in more than one county, they could be located in the index.
At the same time, volunteers were found who were willing to coordinate the collection of databases and generally oversee the contents of the web page. The Louisiana GenWeb Project is an extension of the KY GenWeb Project. If you have any questions or would like to Volunteer in any capacity, please contact:
