French inhabitants of Mobile Oath of Allegiance to England

  • The following is the official list from the British Public Record Office in London, of the French who took the oath of allegiance.  The list is as it appeared in Dunbar's "History of Mississippi" with all the apparent misspellings of an Englishman who did not know the French language. Items in parentheses are mine.
