A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Kraemer for Willie J. Kraemer, 51, a native and resident of Kraemer, who died at 4:46 p.m. Feb. 1, 2001.
Visitation will be from 5 until 10 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. until funeral time at the church hall.
Burial will be at the church cemetery.
He was the son of Adley Kraemer; and brother of Danny, Manuel and Simon “Matthew” Kraemer, Alice Foret, Della Puccio, Liz Farace, Elaine Delatte, Martha Kraemer and Hope Sanchez.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Azley Martinez Kraemer; his grandparents and one niece.

He was a U.S. Army veteran.

She was a member of Moses Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Sophisticated Ladies Social Club.

She enjoyed crafts, collecting antiques, dolls, gardening and playing with her grandchildren.

She was the wife of George Lockett; mother of Walter and Pamela Lockett; sister of Marion Keys Griffin, Laverne Keys Becnel, both of Ama, and Henry Keys of Belle Rose. She is also survived by six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Sarah Kelly Keys; guardian, Permilla Reed; brothers, Ray and Herbert Keys; and sisters, Laura Lewis and Shirely Herbert; and godchild, John Robert Bell.
She was a graduate of W. H. Reed High School and Dillard University in New Orleans, where she received a bachelor of science in nursing degree. She worked for several years at Los Angeles County Hospital and ,in 1969, became the first black full-time faculty member with Nicholls State’s bachelors degree nursing program.
While there, she earned a master of arts in guidance and counseling and a master of science in nursing from Texas Women’s University in psychiatric nursing.
She was a member of her church’s Sr. Choir, president of the Missionary Society, secretary of the Pastor Aide Support Group and of the beautification club.
She was also a member of the Fifth District of the National Baptist Convention USA, Inc. Woman’s Auxiliary, the American Legion Woman’s Auxiliary and Mt. Moriah Chapter 24 O.E.S. and other organizations and committees.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of Vacherie Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 04245 and Knights of Columbus Council 1514. He served as a Eucharistic minister at St. Phillip Catholic Church.

Orena Adams

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Co-cathedral in Thibodaux for Orena LeBlanc Castagnetta Adams, 89, a native of Minerva and resident of Thibodaux who died at 7 p.m. Oct. 17, 2001.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time at the church.
Burial will be at the St. Joseph Cemetery.
She was the mother of David Castagnetta; stepmother of Louis III, Harold and George Adams.
She is also survived by two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joe Castagnetta and second husband, L.C. Adams Jr.; and parents, Caliste and Helen Hauck LeBlanc.

Freddie Farlow Sr.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Bell Baptist Church in Thibodaux for Freddie Farlow Sr., 74, a native of Raceland and resident of Gibson who died at 8 p.m. Oct. 15, 2001.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Community Funeral Home of Houma and from 8 a.m. to funeral time at the church.
Burial will be at the church cemetery.
He was the father of Freddie Farlow Jr. of Raceland, Mary Weber of Thibodaux, Geraldine Jackson and Maxine Farlow, all of Houma; brother of Johnny Farlow, Cora Lawson and Olivia Farlow, all of Raceland and Ruth Robinson of Thibodaux.
He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doretha Smith Farlow; parents, Clarence and Nancy Wood Farlow; and brother, Joseph Farlow Sr.
He was a parishioner of Bell Baptist Church of Raceland. He was retired from Babin’s Farming and the Lafourche Parish Council.
Community Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.

Roland Hymel Sr.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Philip Catholic Church in Vacherie for Roland Martin “Johnny” Hymel Sr., 89, a native and resident of Vacherie, who died Oct. 16, 2001.
Visitation will be at the church prior to funeral services.
Burial will be at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Edgard.
He was the husband of Inez Webre Hymel; and father of Jerelyn Hymel Infante of Houma, Roland Hymel Jr. of Prairieville, Carroll and Leslie Hymel, both of Vacherie. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Valsin and Aurelie Abadie Hymel; brothers, Francis Sr., George and Jules Hymel; and sisters, Elvina Hymel Hotard, Celima, Dervina, Elise, Hilda and Eula Hymel.
He was a former manager of Vacherie Wholesale and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1514.

Oneil Legendre Jr.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Chackbay for Oneil Joseph Legendre Jr., 51, a native and resident of Chackbay, who died Oct. 16, 2001.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. until funeral time at the church. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
He was the husband of Marie P. Legendre; and father of Toby and Corey Legendre.He is also survived by two stepsisters.
