Tucker Cemetery

Tucker Cemetery Site Visit April 2, 2021

On Good Friday 4/2/2021 the following people made the hike into the Tucker Cemetery. Tim Martin, Josh Martin, and Milton Smiley. Milton is a direct decedent of the tucker family. He is 80 years old and has wanted to visit his relative’s graves for the last 20 years. Upon arrival at the cemetery, we found all graves to be intact except for the one head stone that had been broken by a falling tree branch. We cleaned all seven headstones with D2 and cut weeds away from the graves. Later we plan to return to this site and restore the one fallen tombstone. There is one adult buried here and six children. I want to thank the Bayou Barbary Hunting Club for allowing us permission to cross their lease.
