Funeral services for Thomas David "T.D." Waters, age 81, will be 10:30AM
Saturday, December 31, 2005 at Cox Funeral Home, Oak Grove, Louisiana with
Rev. Zale Lewis, Rev. Keith Riley & Archie Haley officiating. Interment will
be in the Oak Grove City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00PM - 10:00PM Friday at Cox Funeral Home.

He is preceded in death by his wife: Jeanette Benton Waters; parents: Tom David Waters Sr. & Myrtle Waters.

T.D. is survived by his son & daughter-in-law: Tom David Waters III & Sandy Waters of Oak Grove, Louisiana; 2 grandchildren: Toby Waters & wife Molly of Tallulah, Louisiana, Tabatha Waters of Metairie, Louisiana; great-grandchild: Remington S. Waters of Tallulah, Louisiana; brother: Jim G. Waters of Oak Grove, Louisiana; sister: Edna Salemi of Lake Providence, Louisiana; sister-in-law: Louise Benton of Goodwill, Louisiana; Number of nieces & nephews; a special friend & caregiver: Greg Miles.

Mr. T. D. was a member of the First Baptist Church of Oak Grove, where he was once a deacon. He was a board member of the West Carroll National Bank and served on the board of the MEO. He owned the Western Auto store for several years. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII in the South Pacific Theater. He was a 32nd degree Mason and was one of the charter members of the West Carroll Ambulance Assoc. He once served as asst. fire chief in Oak Grove. Mr. T.D. loved his country, community & friends.

Pallbearers will be: Jimmy Melton, Wayne Holley, Dennis Berry, Shorty McLemore, Bobby O'Neal, Dennis Seamans, Archie Haley.
