Shady Grove Church ca. 1920-21

I would like to share this picture with your site. Here is what I know about this picture: it was taken in Montgomery, LA at the Shady Grove Church, which I was told is right next to the Shady Grove Cemetery on Hwy 71 in Montgomery, LA. ~ Tammy Hayes, 2 Aug 2000

The lady wearing the black dress sitting in the chair holding the baby is Delia Pender Chelette. She is holding her son Tommy Chelette. On the front row, the little boy in the black sailor suit is Paul Chelette son of Delia Pender Chelette and Abraham Chelette. The little girl on the right of him if you are looking at the picture is Audry Chelette daughter of Delia Pender Chelette and Abraham Chelette. To the right of her is Oliver Chelette son of Delia Pender Chelette and Abraham Chelette. On the very back row the man with the white shirt and suspenders that looks to be tan, is Walter DuBois and his wife is to HIS right. I do not know anything else about this picture. My cousin Gerald Chelette gave it to me, and he supplied the information I have given you about it.
