Keitz, Emile S., M. D., was born in New Orleans, La., May 28, 1881. His early education was received in the public schools of New Orleans. Having graduated from the Boys' central high school in 1898, he immediately entered the academic department of Tulane university, from which he graduated with the degree of A. B. in 1902. In the same year he entered the medical department of Tulane university and graduated with the degree of M. D., in 1906. Shortly following his graduation he began general practice in New Orleans. In 1908 he entered the Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat hospital as resident physician, and served in that capacity for one year. From April, 1909, to April, 1910, he did special work in the medical department of the University of Vienna with reference to that particular branch of practice in which he has specialized since that time. Following his return from the University of Vienna he began practice as a specialist in diseases of the eye, ear, nose and throat, and has so continued to this time. Dr. Keitz is a member of the Orleans Parish, and Louisiana state Medical associations, Masonic fraternity, and Knights of Pythias. He affiliates with the democratic party.
