Colfax Rural Free Delivery started on May 1st and will run every day except Sunday delivering mail to all boxes established along the line. The route is 31.4 miles in length taking int he Futrell, Black Creek, Fairfield, and part of the Ada settlements and will prove a great convenience to the people of these communities.
Mr. Henry Irwin on Tuesday of last week hauled out a wagonload of
the boxes which are to be used. In order to avail themselves of the
system all persons living along the route are required to secure one
of these boxes for their use.
