LAKE ARTHUR - Funeral services for Mrs. Azema Guidry Mires, 79, will be at 2:30 p.m. today,
March 18, in Miguez Funeral Home Chapel.

The Rev. Gerard Smit will officiate. Burial will be in Andrus Cove Cemetery.

A rosary will be said at 10 a.m. today in the funeral home chapel. Mrs. Mires died at 12:10 a.m.
Thursday in a Jennings nursing home.

She was a lifelong resident of the Lake Arthur area.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Henriette Courts and Mrs. Dolores Fruge;three sisters,
Mrs. Mattie Broussard, Mrs.Aurelia Guidry and Mrs. Amy Simmons; one brother Eddie Guidry
of Lake Arthur; eight grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
