Belanger, Charles Edwin & Mary Eudora Hepler

Charles & his daughter, Carrie Amelia Belanger Bourg (born 15 Feb 1873)
Taken in Houma in 1888, when Carrie was about 15 years old.

Charles Belanger was born in 1842. In the 1850 census he is living with Suphroinn & Marie Hotard. He appears to have the following Bellanger siblings: Gean M. (15), Ludger C. (13), Henry F. (12), Emilie A. (11).

Mary Eudor Hepler was born in 1846, daughter of George A. and Mary A. Bestoso Hepler. She was born in Lafourche Parish, lived in Houma and died Nov 14 1886 of consumption. She was buried Nov 15 1886 Roman Catholic Cemetery ( St Francis), with Wm D Christian, clergyman assisting. Charles and Mary have the following Children: M. F. Belanger (b. 1868), Edwin H. Belanger (b. 1870-1882) and Carrie Bellanger (b. 1873). Edwin Hepler Belanger died of Typhoid Fever on April 27 1882 at the age of 11 years. He was buried in the Houma Cemetery (Magnolia) on April 28 1882, Wm. D. Christian,  Clergyman ~  St Matthew’s Episcopal Church Records

Carrie Amelia Belanger was born 15 Feb 1873 and died 4 Feb 1916. She married Joseph Charles Bourg (1873-1916). They had the following children: Don, Loren, Norman, Charles and Nell.  She is buried in St. Francis Cemetery.
