Richardson Cemetery

Located on Hwy 421 south of Wakefield, LA in West Feliciana Parish. It is located at the home of John D. Spillman. It is a small cemetery enclosed within a fence and is in excellent condition.
Some of these graves were in the above ground vaults of early years.

From the tombstones themselves we find buried here:

These two identical type vaults above ground, possibly married.
Mrs. C. C. Richardson b June 16, 1804 d March 16, 1858.
Wade H. Richardson b August 1, 1799 d August 11, 1835.
***(Marriage records of this parish shows a Wade Hampton Richardson
married a Charlotte G. Harbour on July 7, 1821, after leaving cemetery,
I wondered if it was C. G. Richardson instead of C.C.)***

Jared N. Richardson b January 30, 1791 d Jan, ??
Veteran of War of 1812 and Mexican War. Unable to read death date.

Benjamin Smith, son of Philander A. and Maryll Smith,
b September 6, 1840 d September 8, 1840.
Lived only two days.

Wade Rivers Smith, Philander A. and Maryll Smith,
b June 1, 1845 d March 21, 1846.

Philander Calvin Smith, son of Philander A. and Maryll Smith
b April 18, ???? d December 8, 1817.

Philander A. Smith b January 8, 1817 d June 14, 1848.

Mary D. Doherty b October 17, 1822 d April 3, 1859.

Mary W. Richardson b December 2, 1865 d April 22, 1955.

One monument two names (evidently husband and wife):
Amanda Rosalie Richardson b October 1, 1841 d April 23, 1900
(her maiden name possibly Barrow going by Marriage records of this
Parish, md Feb 19, 1861)
Wade H. Richardson b January 19, 1833 d April 18, 1869.

W. Hilliard Richardson b December 14, 1861 d June 17, 1890.
Leonora Connel Richardson (wife of W. Hilliard Richardson)
b October 6, 1861 d September 24, 1928.
