Almard SETE was from Jefferson Parish. He had a son named Louis Aubin SETE. Louis married Eugenie LAVERGNE in Opelousas, LA on July 31, 1845. When he got married the church records stated that his father was Almard SETE and his mother was Louise LANTIS of Jefferson Parish and on the court house papers it said that his father was Almard SETE and his mother was Vivante Louis DARTZ. As you can see his name has changed from Sete to Esthay.
