Obituary, Pollock Newspaper?A friend of mine gave me a copy of the
following obituary of my Great- grandmother.
The obituary is from the Pollock People's Demands, does anyone know if this was a newspaper or what? If it was a newspaper , are copies on microfilm at the Grant Parish Library ?? After all my years of research I have not been able to determine the maiden name of my great-grandmother Amanda J. Volentine, I am working on the theory at the present time that she may have been Amanda Wallace, daughter of J. H. Wallace who is buried at Big Creek Cemetery in Grant Parish, LA. As always I appreciate any help to my questions. Bob Valentine Great-grand son of John and Amanda Volentine/Valentine
VOLENTINE-The Pollock People's Demands says : Mrs. Amanda J., wife of John Volentine, died at 7;30 p. m., Thursday March 14, 1901, aged 57 years 11 months and 26 days.
