No.1040 Pg. 120 4/679 On January24, 1831, Madam Josephine HEBERT, wife of Jean Baptiste CAILLOUET and Magdeleine HEBERT, widow
Gerasime DESORMEAUX, deceased, residents of the parish of St. Charles, sell, cede, convey, from now and forever, to William RODDY, a
piece of land, of about 6 2/3 arpents front, by depth according to the plan and the official report of survey, situated on both banks
of Bayou Terrehonne, bounded above by land of widow Cadet LIRREY, and below by land recently sold to Mrs. H. S. THIBODAUX. This land
belongs to the vendors, as being heirs of Hypolite HEBERT, their father, deceased. Land was sold in consideration of the sum of
$3,000.00, with payments over time. Witnessed by Francois GAUDY and Francois MICHEL.

1831 Mrs. Marie Magdeleine LEBOEUF, wife of Sebastien TIVET, being healthy.of mind and body, as it appeared to us, but well persuaded
of the frailty of things human, and of life, desiring besides to regulate and arrange her affairs, has dictated her will, as follows:
1. I name and constitute my executor Sebastien TIVET, my husband, by whom I recommend payment of all my debts. 2. I bequeath to my
husband Sebastien TIVET, the portion of my properties, which I would be able to dispose of according to law. 3. The rest of the
property, to be equally divided between my children. 4.I revoke every will or codicil that I have made previously. Witnessed by

No.1043 Pgs. 122, 1234/681 On March 19, 1831 Jean DUPRE gives permission to Joseph Basil DUPRE to build a house on a corner of
his land, near the public highway, without being liable to pay any rent and able to demolish said house and remove it Irom his land,
even after his death. Witnessed by Claiborne WATKINS and W. C. WATKINS.

Marcelin BERGERON declared that he has sold, ceded, abandoned and delivered, with warranty by these presents, to Celestin BERGERON to
wit; a piece of land 2 ½ arpens front on each side of Bayou Terrebonne, with depth of the confirmation or location, bounded above by
land of John A. GIBSON and below by land of the vendor, inconsideration of the sum of $1,000.00, payable in three equal terms, in
1832, 1833 and 1834. Witnessed by Philippe DARCE and Caleb WATKINS.
No.1045 Pgs. 124, 125 4/684 On March 23, 1831 Jean
Baptiste BERGERON of this parish, in consideration of the sum of $1,000.00, well and duly paid to him, he hereby sells, cedes,
abandons and delivers to Marcelin BERGERON a piece of land containing 5 arpents front on each side of Bayou Terrebonne, with such
depth certificate of confirmation calls for, bounded above by land of John A. GIBSON and below by land of Jacques ADAMS on the right
side, Pierre GAUTREAUX on the left. Witnessed by B. WATKINS and Philippe H. DARCE.
On March 25, 1831 widow of George TOUPS
gave Power of Attorney to Louis TOUPS whereby she gives him full power to collect the amount due her by Mr. ELLIS, from sale of a

No.1057 Pgs. 137, 138 4/693 On April 23, 1831 Pierre BILLIOT
declared he sold, ceded, abandoned, conveyed and delivered with all warranties to John Baptiste HENRY a certain negress, with a
yellow complexion, named Martha, age 12 years, also in consideration of the sum of $350.00 paid in cash. Witnessed by Joseph
DELAPORTE and Evariste PORCHE.
No.1058 Pgs. 138, 139 4/693 On April 23, 1931 Etienne BILLIOT guardian of the illegitimate
children of Rosalie ROBINET, who acknowledged this day having received the sum of $440.00, the amount adjudication of young negress
named Martha 12 years old, sold on the 5th of March 1831 at auction, by the Judge of Court of Testimony, giving with these presents
withdrawal of the mortgage, reserved in the sale. Witnessed by Joseph DELAPORTE and Evariste PORCHE.

No.1063 Pg. 143 On April 25, 1831 Marie JEANNE, wife of
Pierre BILLIOT, under ordinary mark and in the presence of witnesses, give by these presents full and entire, to my husband to pass
in my name, the mortgage that has been agreed by us, of Edmond FANGUY, on a piece of land sold by us, concerning a note of $200.00

DUGAS and Jean CORBIT exchanged a piece of land 3 arpents front on right bank of Bayou Terrebonne, with a depth of survey, situated
in this Parish about two leagues from Bayou Lafourche, bounded above by land of Leufroy BARRAS, Ambroise DUGAS acquired land from
Auguste BABIN by act passed before Judge P. DASPIT, in counter exchange Isaac CORBIT has ceded and abandoned a certain lot of land
situated in Thibodauxville, LA, near and facing the Terreborne Highway, being 140 feet in depth, bounded on each side and behind by
streets, being the same land that CORBIT occupies, at the present time, CORBIT acquired land from widow Henry S. THIBODAUX, by act
passed by Judge P. DASPIT. Exchange made in consideration of a balance of $300.00 that said Isaac CORBIT recently paid to Ambroise

LEBLANC a piece of land situated in this Parish about 10 arpents below Bayou Cane, containing 2 arpents front, on Bayou Terrebonne,
on left bank, bounded above by 1 arpent of land sold this day by present vendor to Lemichel DUROY and below by land of Pierre DAIGLE,

No.1073 Pgs. 155, # 112 All 0886 On May 17, 1831 Michel Louis GACOIN declares in fact that he doth
make and constitute his procurator, general and special, Mr. Norbert BONVILLAIN, of this Parish, and gives power to sell, buy,
exchange, trade, rent, lend, receive, give good and valid acquittance, subscribe notes, obligations, orders, or other obligatory
papers to cite or have cited every person or persons to appear before all courrs. Witnessed by P. Marcelin BONVILLAIN, Philippe H.
DARCE and Judge Gacoin Michel LOUIS.
No.1074 Pg. 156 4/703 On May 19, 1831 Victore SILVIEdeclared that he sold, ceded &
conveyed, without any warranty, to widow Mrs. Henry S. THIBODAUX, a certain debt owed to him by Messrs LAKE and BATEY, for the sum of
$150.00, being part of the consideration of a sale of land on Bayou L'eau Bleue, passed before Judge Leufroy BARRAS, on June 15,
1829, sold for $50.00 cash, which the vendor acknowledged having received, but if Mrs. THIBODAUX succeeds in receiving the total of
the debt, here transferred, then she will be obligated to pay the said SILVIE $50.00 more, but in the contrary case, the $50.00
herein mentioned will be a full compensation for reason of the transfer. Witnessed by Evariste PORCHE and Jean Baptiste GUIDRY.
No. 1075 Pgs. 156, 157 4/704 On May 21, 1831 Jacques VERRET acknowledges having received from widow Mrs. H. S. THIBODAUX, 1st the
sum of $450.00 in April 1830, for the interest of one year, on a sum of $4,500.00. 2nd the sum of $3,500.00, $450.00. which being
interest for the sum of $4,500.00, for one year due May 1, 1831 and $3,050.00 to deduct from the said capital of $4,500.00. VERRET,
in consideration of the said payment, clears the mortgage subscribed by H. S. THIBODAUX, deceased, dated March 11, 1825, for the sum

appeared Simon Pierre LEBLANC, acting for himself for his mother, widow Claude LEBLANC, for Joseph R. LEBLANC, for Celesie LEBLANC,
for Rosalie LEBLANC, for Jean Marie LEBLANC, for Madeite LEBLANC, and for Scholastic LEBLANC, all heirs of Carmelite LEBLANC,
deceased, who acknowledged having received the sum of $224.05, it being the total after the debts were paid, of that which comes to

No. 1079 Pgs. 162, 163 4/705 On June 7, 1831 Bridget
BELANGER, widow H. S. THIBODAUX declared that she had sold, ceded, abandoned and delivered, without any warranty, to James PORTER of
Lafourche Interior Parish, land in Lafourche Interior, confirmed in the name of August or Antoine BABIN, containing, firstly, 640
acres in superficies, but where a small portion was sold by H. S. THIBODAUX. August BABIN sold the land to Henry S. THIBODAUX, was
inventoried by Judge DASPIT January 5, 1928 # 30, of the said lots of the said inventory, this land is situated the first concession
of Alexis LEJEUNE and on a bayou commonly called Bayou LaBlaque and has been adjudicated at the price of the appraisal by the court
of testimony of this parish, in conformity with the agreement of the family assembly, of the said succession, unto the said Mr.
PORTER. Sale made for and in consideration of the sum of $600.00, payable March 1832. Witnessed by A. J. VERRET and Augustin
MONGEONT.
No. 1080 Pg. 164 4/706 On June 8, 1831, Leonore CROCHET acknowledges that he received from Jean COMEAU, the sum of
$73.25, being the amount which came to the said Leonore in the succession of Julien CROCHET, his lather, deceased, and which sum
widow Julien CROCHET, deceased, had received, and was responsible for, to the said Leonore and by these presents, the said Leonore
subrogates Jean COMEAU, in his stead and place.
No. 1081 Pgs. 164, 165 4/707 On June 11, 1831 Alexandre VERDUN declared he had
sold, ceded, abandoned from the present and forever, to Etienne BILLIOT, the following slaves, viz; 1 negress named Rosalie, about 54
years old, and her two children: Zeidi, about 14 years old and Antoine, about 7 years old, being same that he bought in the Public
Sale of the properties of Rosalie ROBINET, deceased, and on the said slaves, there does not exist any mortgage other than the one
reserved in the said Public Sale, for sum of $850.00. Etienne is the guardian of the children of Rosalie ROBINET, he renders to
VERDUN the notes that he had subscribed, for the same sum. Witnessed by Evariste PORCHE and Huberville ARSENEAU.

181, 182, 183 M 1/185 On June25, 1831 Jean Baptiste BERGERON declared that whereas Joseph DELAPORTE advanced to him this day, both in
money and in merchandise to the amount of the sum of $200.00, more or less, and Mr. DELAPORTE obligates himself to advance to him
merchandise, in the month of next March 1832, until concurrence of the sum of $300.00, in order to assure the punctual payment, of
the aforesaid sums, which is fixed in next March 1832, the said Jean Baptiste BERGERON hereby effects and mortgages to the said
Joseph DELAPORTE, his heirs and assigns, a certain piece of land situated in this parish, about 7 miles from Bayou Lafourche,
containing 3 arpents front, on left bank of Bayou Terrebonne and 2 arpents on right bank of Bayou Terrebonne, with such depth as the
survey calls for, bounded below by land of Jacques BONVILLAIN and above by land of Michel GACOIN and Florentin BOUDREAUX, on right
side of Bayou Terrebonne. Witnessed by Jean Baptiste MONIER and Norbert BONVILLAIN.

1, 1831, Moliere DUPRE does constitute and make by these presents, his special procurator, Mr. Henry Philippe DARCE, for him in the
succession of Charles GAUDIN, deceased, Marie Joseph BABIN, widow Charles GAUDIN, and the father and mother of the said constituent,
deceased, giving the right to take action before every competent court. Witnessed by Jean Baptiste MONIER and Evariste PORCHE.
No.1092 Pgs. 184-186 4/710 On July 1, 1831, Henry Philippe DARCE declared whereas Mr. Moliere DUPRE gave to him a procuration to
receive such sums that might come to him, in the succession of his Grandmother, deceased widow Charles GAUDIN, as well as that of his
father and mother, both deceased, he hereby mortgage to the said Moliere DUPRE, here present, 1st a piece of land of 1 arpent front
on right bank of Bayou Terrebonne, bounded above by land of Leon CROCHET, and below by land of Florentin BOUDREAUX, 2nd a piece of
ground situated in Williamsburg, near Bayou Cane, being in block 6, containing 74 1/2 feet front on Bayou Terrebonne, and 64 feet in
depth, bounded in front by Bayou Terrebonne, and below by Street # 2, bounded above by land of William Claiborne WATKINS. Witnessed

No. 1093 Pgs. 186-188 M 1/188 On July 9, 1831 Julien Benjamin MARTIN, acting in the name
of Jean Baptiste HEBERT, by a procuration passed before Judge DASPIT on June 20, 1831 acknowledged having received from Mrs. Henry S.
THIBODAUX and Leandre B. THIBODAUX, executors of Henry S. THIBODAUX, the sum of $530.00, being the principal and interest of that
which came to the said Jean Baptiste HEBERT, in the succession of his mother, Marie DONARON, deceased, which sum was in the hands of
said Henry S. THIBODAUX, as guardian of Jean Baptiste HEBERT, acquitance is made and passed July 9, 1831. Witnessed by P. H. DARCE
and Huberville ARSENEAUX.
I, Jean Baptiste HEBERT, son of Jean Louis HEBERT and Marie DONARON, deceased, being qualified to
declare and to he heir of 1/8 in the succession of the said deceased ones and desiring to receive my parts and portions, have made
and constituted for my general and special representative, Mr. Julien B. MARTIN, my brother-in-law, living in the parish of

No.1094 Pgs. 189, 190 On July 17, 1831, Pierre BRUNET sold,
ceded, abandoned, conferred and delivered by these presents, to Mr. Leon ARCEMENT, land several arpents below Canal Belanger,
containing 2 arpents front on each side of Bayou Terrebonne, with depth of survey, bounded below by land of Jean Baptiste DUPLANTI,
and above by land of the vendor, part of larger portion sold by Etienne BILLIOT to Jean Baptiste DUPLANTI, sold in consideration of
the sum of $150.00 in cash, $250.00 payable in 1832 and $200.00 payable March 18, 1833. Witnessed by Joseph DELAPORTE.

1096 Pgs. 191,192 4/712 On July 18, 1831 Joseph Thomas BABIN declared that he sold, ceded and delivered, with all legal warranties to
Philippe Henry DARCE a certain piece of land, containing 1 ½ arpents front on each side of Bayou Terrebonne, about ½ mile below Bayou
Cane, with depth of concession, bounded above by land of Samuel H. HARPER and below by land of vendor, being one half of the land
bought by the vendor at the auction of the properties of William S. WATKINS, deceased, being encumbered by one mortgage of $500.00,
in consideration of the sum of $250.00, payable half now and half in March 1832. Witnessed by C. B. WATKINS and Huberville ARSENEAUX.
No.1100 Pgs. 197-199 4/716 On July 23, 1831 Philippe Henry DARCE declared where as he has this day exchanged with Claiborne
WATKINS piece of land situated in the town called Williamsburg, which was mortgaged in favor of the said Moliere DUPRE, now DARCE
together with DUPRE hereby conveys the mortgage on the land given in exchange this day by William Claiborne WATKINS, discharging by
these presents the first land mortgage, by act of July 1, 1831. Witnessed by J B MONIER and W. C. WATKINS.

197-199 4/717 On July23, 1831 Philippe H. DARCE declared that he sold, ceded, abandoned, conveyed and delivered to Lady Marie
Magdeleine LANCON, wife of Manuel ALBARADO, assisted by him, a certain piece of land situated in this parish, containing 1 arpent
front on right bank of Bayou Terrebonne, with depth of the concession, bounded above by land of Leonore CROCHET and below by land of
Florentin BOUDREAUX, for a sum of $550.00, payable $300.00 next March, and $250.00 in March 1833. Witnessed by J. B. MONIER and Wm.

Evariste PORCHE and Elmire THIBODAUX, his wife, a piece of land situated a little distance below Bayou Cane, containing 3 arpens
front on each side of Bayou Terrebonne, with depth of concession, or survey, bounded above by land of Jean Jacques LEBOEUF and below

1831 Laurent PICHOFF, said MAURANS, declared that for in consideration of a sum of $150.00, well and duly paid to him by Julien
Benjamin MARTIN, he here by sells, cedes, abandons, and delivers a piece of land situated several arpents above Belanger Canal,
containing ½ arpent front on left bank of Bayou Terrebonne, bounded above by land of Hubert BELANGER and below by land of vendor,

6, 1831 Julien B. MARTIN declared that he sold, ceded, abandoned and delivered to Jean Baptiste HEBERT, a certain piece of land

bounded above by land of Laurent PICHOFF and below by land of Hubert BELANGER Witnessed by H. C. THIBODAUX and A. H. VERRET.
No. 1109 Pg. 217 M/190 On August 27, 1831 Julien B. MARTIN paid Leufroy BARRAS $536.00, which he received from the executors of the
succession of Henry B. THIBODAUX, deceased, for the part and portion which came to the said HEBERT, in the succession of his mother.

No.1110 Pg. 218 M/191 On September 2, 1831, the legal heirs of Marguerite
Ludovine PITRE, deceased widow of Joseph BOUDREAUX, acknowledge that we received form Pierre Gacon LEBLANC, our part of a sum of
$900.00, owed by him, according to two acts passed before Judge Leufroy BARRAS dated March 9, 1827, do erase the mortgage mentioned
in the two acts, each for 1/10.

received from Pierre Gracien LEBLANC, the portion that was coming to him, from thesum of $900.00, which was due to Joseph BOUDREAUX,
deceased, for a piece of land that she had sold to Renaud BOUDREAUX, the 10th of that sum, giving by these presents, withdrawal of

mortgage in his favor, dated March 15, 1830 by Jean Baptiste LAPERUSE, for the sum of $285.00. Witnessed by Leandre B. THIBODAUX and

No.1119 Pgs. 234, 235 M 1/194 On October 13, 1831 Jean Baptiste LAPERUSE declared that whereas he has
made this day, his obligation in favor of Jean Baptiste ROUSSY, for a sum of $600.00, being a loan, payable Mareh 1836. To secure

declared that at the time of the death of Pierre Denis DELARONDE, pere, husband of Eulalie BERBOIS, concerning a piece of land, in Terrebonne
Parish, about one-half league from Bayou Lafourche, land acquired from Thomas DeVillannaua BARRASO, by act dated December 22, 1813, in the
records of Michel de ARMAS, deceased, then notary of New Orleans, by the concession, as it appears, from the receipt of J. B. MC LANAHAN,
receiver of the public funds, delivered under number 264, dated May 3, 1822, and on February 26, 1827 and the following days, the said lady
Eulalie BERBOIS, widow DELARONDE, as testamentary executor, in the interest of three minor daughters, Felicie, Eliza and Azelie DELARONDE, and
her minor grand-daughter Eliza WHITE, with consent of all heirs, sold at Public Auction, all properties of the deceased, on July 14, 1827. The
land was purchased by Pierre Denis DELARONDE, fils, and Pierre Adolph DUCROS, which they now own conjointly and undividedly owners of the land,
each one half. Now they want to end their joint ownership, by dividing property in half, land in Terrebonne Parish 1224 acres superficies, more
or less, with 20 arpents front on each side of Bayou Terrebonne, bounded North by land of Francois MALBROUGH, and vacant lands, and on the south
side, land conceded to Joseph MOLERE, which belonged to Nathan MERIAM, and now belongs to Lemuel TANNER. The land was divided in half, with 10
arpents front on both side. By drawing lots, in ordinary manner and custom, the result, first choice was due Joseph Marcel DUCROS, who chose the
upper part of land, and Pierre Denis DELARONDE, fils, accepts the lower part of land. Witnessed by Amedee DUCATEL and Charles Victor FOULON.

ceded, transferred and delivered to the “Society of Commerce”, represented by Ernest MURPHY, a piece of land in Terrebonne Parish, about one
half league from Bayou Lafourche and nine and one half leagues from the Mississippi River, having 653 acres in superficies, more or less,
bounded above by land of Francois MALBROUGH, and below by land of Pierre Denis DELARONDE, fils, and also two head of slaves, George and David,
about 24 years of age, by virtue of the acquisition he made from Thorton ALEXANDER, by act dated June 12, 1830, in the report of Louis J. CEURE,
Notary Public. All sold for $12,000.00, $10,400 for the land and $800.00 for each slave. Elina Olivia DEVESIN, wife of Joseph Marcel DUCROS,
authorized for the purpose for the full validity of these presents, agreed to the sale. Witnessed by Edouard LAVIGNE and Gustave LEGARDEUR.
