No. 1702 Pgs. 257-258 5/1041 On July 22, 1835 Pierre Bertin ROUSSEL exchange land with Francois BABIN, to
wit; a certain piece of land situated in this parish, a short distance below the Grand Caillou bridge containing one and one-half
arpents front on each side of Bayou Terrebonne, with depth of concession and four arpents front on each side of Bayou Terrebonne,
bounded above and below by land of Mr. ROUSSEL, in exchange for a certain piece of land situated about six miles from Thibodauxville,
containing three arpents front on the right bank of Bayou Terrebonne, with depth of the survey, bounded above by land of Jean
Baptiste RICHARD, and below by land of THIBODAUX and BATEY, land same ROUSSEL sold BABIN April 21, 1835, in consideration of the sum
of $300.00. Witnessed by A. H. VERRET and Louis VERRET.
No. 1703 Pg. 258-259 5/1040 On July 23, 1835 Charles Ferdinand AUBERT,
major son of Pierre AUBERT and Mrs. Marguerite BARRAS, deceased, on the one hand and Miss Esther TANNER, minor daughter of Lemuel
TANNER and Anne Celeste BELLANGER, stipulating for herself, with assistance of father, present: “considerations and clauses of their
future marriage” to wit;
The said Charles Ferdinand AUBERT and Esther TANNER promise reciprocally to take each other as
husband and wife, and to have the ceremony there of celebrated by a competent officer, as soon as, one of them will require it of the
other, under penalty of nullity of these presents.
There will be a community of the property between the intended husband and
wife, inconformity with the new Civil Code, of the State of Louisiana, beginning the day of their marriage.
The properties are 1st
a sum of $769.00, coming from the inheritance of his deceased mother, 2nd A Negress named Mariane and her two children, Adelle and
Etienne, appraised at $1,500.00, which were given to her by her father, lately and 3rd a sum of $4,000.00, also given to her, by
father lately, 4th a piece of land five arpents front on left bank of Bayou Lafourche, located a short distance below that now
occupied by her father, bounded above by land of Joseph NICHOLAS and below by land of E. LEPINE, land acquired by cash and savings of
the said husband, and appraised at $5,000.00, 5th. the sum of $500.00 in cash from the savings of the intended husband.
And here
the said Charles F. AUBERT, intended husband, declares he donates and gives Esther TANNER full ownership of the sum of $5,500.00,
from this day forward.
Now Lemuel TANNER and Mrs. Celeste BELLANGER, his wife, father and mother of Esther, declare by these
presents, that they constitute in the dowry of their daughter, the sum of $4,000.00.

No. 1704 Pg. 259 5/1044 On July 28, 1835 Mrs. Marguerite LEBOEUF, widow of Pierre CHIASSON, declared she sold,
ceded, abandoned and delivered to John CUNNINGHAM and Angelle Theotisse CHIASSON, his wife, a certain piece of land, situated in this
parish, about thirteen miles below Bellanger Canal, containing four arpents front on both sides, by depth of survey, bounded above by
land of vendor and below by land of Hubert BELLANGER, sold in consideration of the sum $206.75, paid over time. Witnessed by Hubert
BELLANGER and Michel BELLANGER.
No. 1705 Pg. 259 5/1043 On July 28, 1835 Hubert BELLANGER declared he sold, ceded, abandoned
and delivered to Michel BELLANGER a certain piece of land situated a short distance below Bellanger Canal, containing two and
one-half arpents front on each side of Bayou Terrebonne, with depth of the survey, bounded above by land of Marian GRIS and below by
land formerly owned by Manette RENAUD, land acquired from Pierre BILLIOT for $300.00, payable over time. Witnessed by John CUNNINGHAM

No. 1706 Pg. 260 On January 13, 1835 Joseph Marcelin LANDRY and wife Rosalie SAVOIE acknowledged giving in
exchange for a piece of land situated on Bayou Little Caillou, bounded above by land of Laurent PELEGRIN and below by land of Fortune
PELEGRIN, they abandoned to Mr. Crejustin MARTIN in exchange for land in Lafourche Parish. Witnessed by Charles Lemichel DUROY.
No. 1711 Pg. 262 112A/10935 On August 14, 1835 the heirs of Henry S. THIBODAUX name as their special procurator, Mrs. Bridget
BELLANGER, widow Henry S. THIBODAUX, to sell land bought from the heirs of Joseph DIANE or JEANNE, situated below Canal Bellanger, on
both sides of Bayou Terrebonne, bounded above by land of BISLAND and SHIELDS and below by land of Mrs. TYSON. Witnessed by E. D.
BURGUIERES and W. O. WATKINS.
No. 1713 Pg. 262-263 5/1046 On August 22, 1835 Paul BOUDRAUX, of the Parish of Assumption,
declared he sold, ceded, abandoned and delivered to Henry Claiborne THIBODAUX, a certain piece of land, situated in this parish,
about seven miles from Thibodauxville, containing one arpent front on each side of Bayou Terrebonne, bounded above by land of Antoine
BOETO, on the left side and below by land of the succession of Dr. DOWNING, with depth of survey, for $500.00, paid in cash.

No. 1714 Pg. 263 M2/345 On August 22, 1835 Mrs. Henry S. THIBODAUX, widow,
declared she had received from Paul BOUDRAUX, the sum of $500.00, that he owed to Mr. Jacques BONVILLAIN, according to act dated July
27, 1833, which was transferred by act dated August 10, 1833, payment was for land Jacques BONVILLAIN sold to Paul BOUDRAUX July 27,
1833, for one arpent of land on each side of Bayou Terrebonne, adjoining above by land of Dr. DOWNING. Mrs. H. S. THIBODAUX and
Jacques BONVILLAIN give withdrawal of the mortgage stipulated in the said sale. Witnessed by Louis VERRET and E. D. BURGUIERES.
No. 1715 Pg. 263-264 5/1047 On August 26 1835 Leandre B. THIBODAUX, legitimate son of Henry S. THIBODAUX, deceased and Felicite
BONVILLAIN, deceased, widower in first marriage to Adelaide BERGERON, on the one hand, and Miss Josephine Dalila BONVILLAIN, of St.
Mary Parish, minor daughter of Pierre BONVILLAIN and Therese CARLIN, under authority of her parents, on the other hand. VIZ to settle
the civil clauses and conditions of the proposed marriage between themselves:
All debts and burdens of the intended husband
and wife will be paid and acquitted by the one who contracted them.
There will be a community of the properties of the husband and
wife, under the new civil code now in effect in this state.
Properties of the intended husband consists of various properties,
amicably appraised at $4,000.00, exclusive of that which comes to the children of his first marriage.
The properties of the
intended wife consists of the sum of $500.00, in cash, the intended husband acknowledges having received from her. Now intended
husband, in consideration of the said marriage, and for the love and friendship, that he bears for his intended wife, gives her, upon
her choice, 1/10 of his properties in full ownership, or 1/5 use thereof.

No. 1717 Pg. 265 On August 28, 1835 Bridget BELLANGER sold, ceded, abandoned and delivered to Florentin BOUDRAUX, a certain piece
of land, situated in this parish, about 13 miles from Thibodauxville, containing two and two-thirds arpents front on right bank of
Bayou Terrebonne, bounded above by land William RODDY bought from Mesdames Jean Baptiste CAILLOUET and widow DOSORMAUX, and below by
land of Tobias GIBSON, with depth found therein according to survey, being a part of a land confirmed to Hypolite HEBERT, for
$675.00, with $475.00 paid in cash, and $200.00 payable in March 1836. Witnessed by Louis VERRET and Pg. A. SARGENT.

Pg. 266 5/1049 On August 28, 1835 Florentin BOUDRAUX and his wife Mariane DUROCHE declared they sold, ceded, abandoned and delivered
to Henry Claiborne THIBODAUX, a certain piece of land, situated about seven miles from Thibodauxville, containing two arpens front on
both sides of Bayou Terrebonne, bounded above by land formerly belonging to Leandre CROCHET and below by land of Hypolite CHIASSON on
the left side and Norbert BONVILLAIN, on the right side, with depth survey calls for. This land being same Florentin BOUDRAUX
acquired from Henry S. THIBODAUX, by act dated December 13 1825, in consideration of the sum of $1000.00, in cash. Mrs. Mariane
DUROCHE declared she approved the act of sale. Witnessed by Louis VERRET and P. A. SARGENT.
No. 1723 Pgs. 268-269 5/1052 On
July 16, 1835, in St. James Parish, Mrs. Magdeleine HEBERT, widow of Gerosime DESORMEAUX made and constituted Jean Baptiste CAILLOUET
her general and special procurator, to whom she gives power to act with William RODDY, to whom she, conjointly with her sister
Josephine HEBERT, wife of Jean Baptiste CAILLOUET, sold a piece of land of ten and two-thirds arpents front, by depth of concession,
bounded above by land of widow Cadet LANDRY, and below by land of Mrs. Henry S. THIBODAUX, to receive price of sale, and give
acquittance and discharge whereof. Witnessed by Eloi MICHEL and Simon URIELL. The above sisters, who sold a piece of land of six and
two-thirds arpens front on each side of Bayou Terrebonne, declared that they rescind and annul the said act dated September 12, 1835,
because William RODDY was unable to pay for it. Witnessed by A. H. VERRET and Bannon G. THIBODAUX.

M2/347 On October 6, 1835 Auguste LEBLANC declared he gives withdrawal, pure and simple, of a mortgage in his favor, by act dated
August 20, 1833, authorizing the final erasure from the records, of the office of the Keeper of Mortgages. Witnessed by John K. BOYD
and Leufroy BARRAS.
No. 1728 Pgs. 271-272 On October 18, 1835, a decree of court ordering that an inventory of all the
properties left by Jean Baptiste TRAHAN, deceased. Judge Leufroy BARRAS was transported to the home of Florentin BOUDRAUX, in order
to proceed with said inventory. In the presence of Florentin BOUDRAUX, his wife Mariane DUROCHE, Armand LEJEUNE, Auguste HEBERT,
Joseph LEBLANC, Nicolas THIBODAUX, Joseph LEJEUNE, Huberville ARCENAUX, Carmelite TRAHAN, Francois TORERE, all heirs of the deceased.
Appraisers were Edouard SAVOIE and Louis PITRE, who set value at $1662.56, and debts at $379.50.
No. 1729 Pg. 272 On October
9, 1835 Richard H. GRINAGE, a merchant, sold, ceded, abandoned and delivered to William ROSS, a merchant, two certain lots, No. 2 and
No. 7, on the plan of New Port, joining Canal Belanger, each having seventy feet front and eighty feet depth, sale made for $450.00,
payable over time. Witnessed by A. H. VERRET and Louis VERRET.
No. 1730 Pg. 272 On October 9, 1835 Mrs. Marie Rose LEJEUNE,
widow of Pierre MINOUE, declared to have sold, ceded, abandoned and delivered to Mr. Eleonore CROCHET, a certain piece of land,
situated about one-half mile below the Court House in Houma, containing five arpents front, more or less, on each side of Bayou
Terrebonne, with four arpents in depth, on each side, bounded above by land of Jacques BONVILLAIN on right bank and Surville LABY, on
the left bank and below by land of the succession of late Charles BOURG, called ROUSSEAUX, land being part of a larger one confirmed
in the name of Pierre MINOUE, which the widow divided between herself and her heirs. Sale made in consideration of $900.00, payable
over time. Witnessed by Louis VERRET and A. H. VERRET.

No. 1733 Pg. 273 On October 15, 1835 the heirs of Henry S. THIBODAUX give release, pure and simple, to Mrs. Bridget BELANGER, of
the mortgage, which resulted from the adjudication of the wealth of the succession of their father, at the price of estimation.

No. 1735 Pg. 274 On October 25, 1835 Mathurin DAIGLE declared he received $1250.00
from Jean M. LEBLANC, in consideration of a sale passed November 7, 1829, giving, by these presents release of mortgage reserved on
land.
No. 1818 Pg. 290-291 On October 20, 1835 a provisional order for a division between the heirs of late Jean Baptiste
TRAHAN, died last September 29, of the cash money found at the time of the inventory, on the eighth instant, as well as the proceeds
of the sale of effects made yesterday. Present were:
1st the descendants of late Marguerite TRAHAN, sister of the deceased, to
wit: Mariane DUROCHER wife of Florentin BOUDREAUX, Florentin BOUDREAUX, as tutor of minors Apolinaire DUROCHER and Clementine
DUROCHER, children of the late Joseph DUROCHER, the said Mrs. DUROCHER being heir for one-eighth and two children one-sixtheenth
each.
2nd the descendants of the late Barbe TRAHAN wife of Alexis LEJEUNE, to wit: Constance LEJEUNE wife of Joseph MOLAISON,
Armand LEJEUNE and Jean Baptiste Sylvain LEJEUNE and children of the late Jean Baptiste LEJEUNE, namely Rosalie LEJEUNE wife of
Joseph Auguste HEBERT, Marie LEJEUNE wife of Joseph LEBLANC, Madeline LEJEUNE wife of Justin PONTIF, Melanie LEJEUNE wife of Nicolas
THIBODAUX, Joseph LEJEUNE and Antoine Marcelin LEJEUNE.
3rd the descendants of Jean Marie TRAHAN own father of the deceased, to
wit: Melanie TRAHAN wife of Marcelin THIBODAUX, the minor children of the late Hubert TRAHAN, Joseph Napoleon TRAHAN, Carmelite
TRAHAN wife of Simonette TRAHAN, minor Zephirin TRAHAN, minor Celeste TRAHAN, minor Surville TRAHAN and minor Mariane TRAHAN, all
issue of the last marriage of the late Jean Marie TRAHAN with Mariane LEBOEUF, widow of Narcisse MARCEL.
4th Francois TRAHAN, of
the Parish of Assumption, own brother of the late Jean Baptiste TRAHAN, having right to one-fourth of his succession. The descendants
of the late Barbe TRAHAN, being nine, having right to one-thirty-sixth share each and the descendants of the late Jean Marie TRAHAN,
being eight, and having a right to one-thirty-seconds share each.
The estate was valued at $1,430.00, which gives each one of
the four founders of families $357.50 each, divided as follows:

No. 1819 Pgs. 291-292 On December 2, 1835 Guillaume Celestin HENRI sold, ceded, abandoned and delivered to Jerome
DUPRE a certain parcel of land two and one-half arpents front on each side of Bayou Terrebonne, bounded above by land of Jerome DUPRE
and below by land of Jean DUPRE Sr., with depth of survey, for $530.00, payable over time. Same land Guillaume Celestin HENRI bought
at Public Auction of the wealth of late Pierre BRUNET. Witnessed by A. H. VERRET and A. VERRET.

2, 1835 Guillaume Celestin HENRI did declare being persuaded of the uncertainty of human things, and particularly of live, in case of
his death, he wanted to regulate and put his affairs in order, and he declared his last wishes as follows; he gives and bequeath at
his death, in the event that he does not have any children, to his brothers, Jean Baptiste HENRI and Francois Constant HENRI, in all
entirely, all that I may possess or claim, at my death, after my legitimate debts are paid and acquitted. Witnessed by A. H. VERRET

No. 1825 Pg. 294 On December 8, 1835 Rosette BILLIOT declared to have sold, ceded, transferred, retroceded and
delivered to Jean Baptiste GREGOIRE a certain parcel of land situated on lower portion of Bayou Terrebonne, containing five arpents
front on each side of Bayou Terrebonne, with depth of survey, bounded above by land of the succession of A. VERDIN and below by land
of the vendress, land being half of larger parcel bought by her from said GREGOIRE, by act dated November 24, 1833 for $300.00.

No. 1826 Pg. 294 On December 8, 1835 Jean Baptiste GREGOIRE declared he sold,
ceded, abandoned and delivered to Hubert Madison BELLANGER, a certain parcel of land situated in this parish, on lower portion of
Bayou Terrebonne, five arpents front on each side, with depth of survey, bounded above by succession of A. VERDIN and below by land
of Rosette BILLIOT, for $250.00, payable $100.00 cash, with the rest payable in March 1836, or deferring payment until March 1837, by
paying yearly interest of seven per cent. Witnessed by A. H. VERRET and John RODDY.
No. 1827 Pgs. 294-295 On December 12, 1835
Jean Baptiste LAPERUSE, Justice of the peace, went to the domicile of Alexandre LIRETTE, to make an inventory estimative of the
wealth of the community of Alexandre LIRETTE and deceased wife Clemence GUIDRY. Value set at $199.12 ½ by appraisers Jacques LEBOEUF
and Saturnin LEVRON. Witnessed by Marcellin BONVILLAIN and Jean LEBLANC.
No. 1832 Pgs. 297-298 On December 15, 1835 Hypolite
CHIASSON declared he sold, ceded, abandoned and delivered to Antoine BOETO, a parcel of land situated about seven miles from
Thibodauxville, containing one arpent front on left bank of Bayou Terrebonne, with depth of survey, bounded above by land of Henry C.
THIBODAUX, and below by land of purchaser, for $350.00. Witnessed by Jean Baptiste LAINE and John RODDY.

December 16, 1835 Louis LAMOUREUX declared he sold, ceded, abandoned and delivered to Etienne LUSIGNAN, a certain parcel of land,
situated in this parish, about two leagues below Canal Bellanger, containing two and one-half arpents front on each side of Bayou
Terrebonne, with a depth of ten arpents on each side, bounded above by land of Mathurin DUPRE and below by land of Mrs. widow Urbain
ARSENAUX, land being portion of a larger parcel conceded in the name of Urbain ARSENAUX, for $600.00 cash. Witnessed by A. H. VERRET
and Pierre GAUTIER.
No. 1837 Pg. 300 On December 23 1835 Edouard SAVOIE declared he sold, ceded, abandoned and delivered to
Augustin BABIN, a certain parcel of land, situated in this parish, containing three arpents front on both sides of Bayou L’Bleu, with
six arpents in depth on right bank and all that will be found on the other side, according to the survey, bounded above by land of
Leandre B. THIBODAUX and below by land of Mrs. widow Urbain ARSENAUX, for $325.00. Witnessed by A. H. VERRET and Marcellus LEBLANC.
No. 1838 Pgs. 300-301 On December 23, 1835 Jean Baptiste BERGERON and his wife Rosalie LANCON exchanged land with Mrs. Arsene
MENOUE and her husband Jean Baptiste MALBROUGH to wit: Jean Baptiste BERGERON cede, transfer and deliver by these presents two
adjoining lots in Thibodauxville, being same be bought at auction of community properties of deceased Mrs. Jean MARONGE, in counter
exchange, Mrs. Arsene MENOUE cedes, transfers and delivers to Jean Baptiste BERGERON and wife, a certain parcel of land situated in
this parish, about fifteen miles from Thibodauxville, containing three arpents front, on both sides of Bayou Terrebonne, with depth
four arpents on both sides, bounded above by land of Pierre Bertin ROUSSEL and below by heirs of Francois DOUCET, land being a part
of a larger parcel confirmed in the name of Pierre MENOUE, the father of said Arsene, and which was divided between widow and her
heirs. Witnessed by Evariste PORCHE and John RODDY.
No. 1841 Pg. 302 On December 24, 1835 Bridget BELANGER widow Henry S.
THIBODAUX declared that she sold, ceded, abandoned and delivered to Henry Claiborne THIBODAUX: 1st a certain parcel of land situated
about seven miles from Thibodauxville, containing eight arpents front, more or less, on right bank of Bayou Terrebonne, and six
arpents front on left bank, with depth of survey, bounded above by land of H. C. THIBODAUX and Jesse BATEY, and below right by land
of Arad SHELDON, and left bank H. C. THIBODAUX and Jesse BATEY. 2nd all rights and claims on a certain piece of land in rear of a
parcel, here to fore belonging to Leandre CROCHET, on left side of Bayou Terrebonne, beginning twenty arpents from said Bayou
Terrebonne and extending 10 arpents in depth, for $4,500.00 paid in cash. Witnessed by H. S. BOURGEOIS and E. D. BURGUIERES.
No. 1842 Pg. 302-303 On December 24, 1835 Henry Claiborne THIBODAUX declared by these presents to have sold, ceded, abandoned and
delivered to Bridget BELANGER, a certain piece of land situated about five miles from Thibodauxville, containing one arpent front,
more or less, on right bank of Bayou Terrebonne, with depth of survey, bounded above by land of vendor and below by land of Mrs.
Henry S. THIBODAUX for $2000.00, paid in cash. Witnessed by H. S. BOURGEOIS and E. D. BURGUIERES.
No. 1843 Pg. 303. On
December 29, 1835 Simon LEBLANC, merchant, sold, ceded, abandoned and delivered to Francoise Constant HENRI, a young negress named
Lady, about 14 years of age, which vendor acquired from Achille BRAUX, by act passed before Thomas WILSON, Notary Public, for
$500.00, paid in cash.. Witnessed by A. H. VERRET and Marcellus LEBLANC.
No. 1844 Pg. 303. On January 2, 1836 appeared
Augustin BABIN. who declared to be duly and justly indebted to Mrs. Marie Felicite RICHARD, widow of the late Joseph Henri BRAUX, for
the sum of $325.00, that was loaned to hini, he mortgage a certain plot of land, situated in this parish. with three arpents front on
each side of Bayou Terrebonne, with six arpents in depth. on the west bank, and by depth of survey on the east side, bounded above by
land of Leandre B. THIBODAUX and below by land of Mrs. widow N. ARSFNAUX.. Witnessed by John K. BOYD and L. Emile BARRAS.

1846 Pg. 304. On January 5 1836 a court ordered familyily meeting of the relatives of the minors Marie Therese WATKINS, Eugeni
WATKINS, Elmire WATKINS and William WATKINS, all issue from the marriage of William Claibome WATKINS and the late Uranie BONVILLAIN.
Appeared Pierre M. BONVILAIN, Hubert BONVILLAIN, Leandre B. THIBODAUX, Marcelin BERGERON and Celestin BERGERON, to give their
opinion, whether community property be adjudicated to William Claiborne WATKINS, at the appraised value. They agreed at value of
$516.. Witnessed by Philippe H. DARCE and Jacques LABY.
No. 1847 Pgs. 304,305. On January 6, 1836 Pierre GAUTIER exchanged
land with Henri HOFFMANN to wit; Pierre GAUTIER cedes four lots in Newport, Nos. 3,4, 5 and 6, each lot containing 70 feet front,
with 80 feet in depth. In counter exchange, Henri HOFFMANN transfers and cedes a certain piece of land, situated near the Grand
Caillou bridge, containing one arpent front on the right bank of Bayou Terrebonne, with a depth of four arpents, bounded above by
land of Jean M. CAMPO, and below by the public road of Bayou Grand Caillou.. Witnessed by John K. BOYD and L. Emile BARRAS.
No. 1848 Pg. 305. On June 6, 1836 Henry HOFFMANN, merchant, declared to be justly indebted to Henry C. THIBODAUX, for the sum of
$l000.00, so he mortgage four lots in Newport, No. 3, 4, 5 and 6, each measuring 70 feet front with 80 feet in depth.. Witnessed by
Pierre GAUTIER and John K. BOYD.

1859 Pg. 310. On February 16, 1836 apetition of Jean Martin LEBIANC, ordering an estimative inventory of land situated in this
parish, belonging to the community between said LEBLANC and late Clemence THIBODAUX. Huberville ARSENAUX and Francois THIBODAUX were
the appraisers, in presence of Jean Marie LEBLANC, tutor Nicolas THIBODAUX, subrogated tutors Joseph LEBLANC and Pierre THIBODAUX to
wit; parcel of land containing 10 arpents front on each side of Bayou Terreboune, by depth of survey, bounded above by heirs of
N.DOUCET and below by land of Mrs. Henry S. THIBODAUX, land in standing lumber, appraised at $1700.00.

February 16, 1836 Jean Martin LEBLANC called a family meeting of the relatives of minors Ambroise LEBLANC, Felecien LEBLANC, Marie
LEBLANC, Ursine LEBLANC, Michel Nicolas LEBLANC and Sylvain Benjamin LEBLANC, issue from said marriage of Jean Martin LEBLANC and
Mrs. Clemence THIBODAUX. Present were Francois THIBODAUX, Pierre ThIBODAUX, August THIBODAUX, Leufroy THIBODAUX and Benjamin
THIBODAUX, who appraised land at $1700.00, and being that land was not paid for in full, they allowed Jean Martin LEBLANC to sell
land.
No. 1864 Pg. 313. On February 23, 1836 Baptiste HEBERT sold land to Charles Lemichel DU-ROY, land situated on Bayou
Black, bounded above by land of Jean Baptiste HEBERT Sr. and below by land of Olivier DUBOIS, on the right bank (no price mentioned
for land).. Witnessed by C. BERGERON and Alexander DUPRE.
No. 1873 Pg. 317. On March 13, 1836. Sirile PREVOST, alias Collet,
declared his testament and act of his last wish, such as follows; lst. He declares his name and surnames are Sirile PREVOST, called
Collet; my father being Joseph PREVOST, called Collet, and my mother Henriette BOREL, and 1 was born in the Attakapas. 2nd. I name as
my testamentary executor Ursin PREVOST, called Collet, my brother 3rd. desire and request my executor to free from the bonds of
slavery my three slaves, named Desire, 3 years of age, Joseph 18 months of age and Marie 6 months of age, all children of negress
Jane, and give them their liberty, according to formalities required by laws. 4th. I give and bequeath to my said brother Ursin
PREVOST, all that I shall possess at the hour of my death. 5th. I revoke and annul all other testament or codicil, which I may have
made before the present time.. Witnessed by August H. VERRET and Hypolite PORCHE and Huberville ARSENAUX.

No. 1876No. 318,319 M. 2/364. On March
21, 1836 William ROSS sold a mulatress named Adele, to Mr. Henri HOFFMANN, for $900.00, paid over time. William ROSS reserves for
himself the two children of said mulatress.. Witnessed by Jean AUTHEMENT. Signed by William ROSS, Henri HOUFMANN and Judge Leufroy
BARRAS.
No. 1882 Pg. 324 M. 2/368. On April 9, 1836 Mrs. Elise HEBERT, wife of Henry RODDY, duly assisted and authorized by
her husband, who declared to have received from John Louis HEBERT, her father, the sum of $199.23, being the share of the said
appearer, in the succession of her mother, Susane LEBOEUF and in the case of her deceased brother Joseph HEBERT, giving by these
presents, final acquitance and release of the mortgage, which resulted from guardianship of her father, Jean Louis HEBERT.. Witnessed
by A. H. VERRET and Marcellus LEBLANC.
No. 1883 Pg. 324 6/1107 On April 9, 1836 Eleonore CROCHET declared that for $300.00,
well and duly paid by Henri CROCHET, he sold, ceded, abandoned and delivered a certain piece of land, situated in this Parish, a
little below the Court House, containing two arpents front on each side of Bayou Terrebonne, with depth of concession, bounded above
by land of vendor and below by land of late Charles BOURG.. Witnessed by Bannon G. THIBODAUX and H. S. BOURGEOIS.

declared by these presents, to give pure and simple release to Joseph CHANDLER, of a mortgage consented by said CHANDLER, in his
favor,by act of sale passed July 16,1835.. Witnessed by A. H. VERRET and H. S. BOURGEOIS.

1836 Charles Lemichel DUROY declared that Mrs. widow Guillaume MALBROUE, in her capacity as tutrix of children, J. Guillaurne
MALBROUE and Emerente MALBROUE, on this day lent him $300.00, at l0% interest, he mortgage a certain parcel of land, situated in this
parish, containing four arpents front, on left bank of Bayou Terrebonne, by depth of concession, bounded above by land of Damien
MARTIN, and on the other side by land of Valerie HYMEL.. Witnessed by W. JENKINS and William ROSS.
