No. 1583 Pg. 192 5/993 On February 12, 1835 Jean BOURG declared that he sold, ceded, abandoned and delivered a certain piece of land,
to Pierre Marcelin BONVILLAIN, situated a short distance below Bayou Cane, containing three arpents front, on left bank of Bayou
Terrebonne, with depth of thirty-four chains, or such depth as survey calls for, bounded above by land of Leandre B. THIBODAUX, and
below by land of Jean Jacques LEBOEUF. It being same land vendor acquired from Nicolas LIRETTE. He sold land for $320.00. Now
appeared Rosalie Leonore LIRETTE, wife of Jean BOURG, who declared that she authorized the sale.

On March 21, 1835 Celestin BERGERON, inhabitant of Terrebonne Parish, acknowledged her received from Hypolite LANDRY, of Ascention
Parish, guardian of Marcelin BABIN and Charles Dennis BABIN, minor children of Joseph BABIN, deceased, and Marguerite GAUDIN,
deceased, the sum of $558.00, being total amount of the parts coming to Marcelin BABIN and Charles Dennis BABIN, in the succession of
their parents, as appears in the court of testimony of Parish of Iberville, dated June 12, 1833. Sum was loaned by Hypolite LANDRY to
Celestin BERGERON, to be repaid when children reached the age of majority. From Caleb WATKINS, of Terrebonne Parish, administrator of
the succession of Mr. & Mrs. Charles GAUDIN, said Lincourt, they received the sum of $103.61, for the part coming to Charles Dennis
BABIN, in the succession rendered in September 1833. Celestin BERGERON, wanting to assure Hypolite LANDRY. Mortgaged one habitation,
situated in Terrebonne Parish, on both sides of Bayou Terrebonne, having two and one-half arpents front, by about thirty arpents
depth, on the left side and about ten arpents depth on the right side, bounded below by land of Marcelin BERGERON and above by land
of John A. GIBSON, and on the left side, land of Mrs. RHODES, and a negress, named Demitile, age about 22 years, and her children
Daniel, a boy about 5 years of age, Benjamin, a boy about 1 year of age and Phrasie, a girl about 7 years of age. Witnessed by
Auguste Hortado VERRET and Philippe A. SARGENT.
No. 1590 Pg. 197,198 On March 25, 1835 a decree of the court of Testimony,
rendered on petition of Leandre B. THIBODAUX, ordering that an estimatative inventory of the properties belonging to the community,
which lately existed, between Adelaide BERGERON, deceased, and Leandre B. THIBODAUX. Judge Leufroy BARRAS, accompanied by Jean
LIRETTE and Jean Baptiste BONVILLAIN, major and domiciled witnesses, proceeded to inventory properties, in presence of Leandre B.
THIBODAUX, acting in his own name and as guardian of the minors, Pierre Marcelin BONVILLAIN, acting in name of Emilie THIBODAUX,
daughter of Adelaide BERGERON, deceased, wife of the said BONVILLAIN, and Celestin BERGERON, deputy guardian. The appraisers being
Norbert BONVILLAIN and Philippe H. DARCE. Movable property not listed valued at $1204.00 and land to wit; a piece of land containing
four arpents front on right bank of Bayou Terrebonne and seven arpents front on left bank, with depth of ten arpents on right bank
and thirty arpents of depth on left bank, bounded above by land of Richard G. ELLIS, and below by land of P. M. SARGENT, on the left
bank, and Jean. DELAPORT and Company, on the right bank, appraised for $3500.00. Another piece of land three arpents front on each
side of Bayou L’eau Bleue, with depth found therein, bounded above by land of Edouard SAVOIE and below by land of Marianne BABIN,
appraised for $200.00. Another piece of land with eight arpents front on each side of Bayou Terrebonne, with such depth therein,
bounded above by land of WALKER and CLIFTON, and below by land of Francois BUQUET, appraised for $1600.00, for a total of $6504.00.
No. 1589 Pg. 196, 197 On March 21, 1835, by virtue of a decree rendered on the back of the petition of Marie SIVILE, surviving
wife of Pierre GAUTREAUX, deceased, ordering an inventory of the community that lately existed between Marie SIVILE and her deceased
husband, Judge Leufroy BARRAS with Jean Baptiste BEAUSERGENT and Jean Baptiste GUIDRY, in the presence of widow Pierre GAUTREAUX,
acting for herself and names of her minor children and Orelien BOUDREAUX, acting as natural guardian of Marcelin BOUDREAUX, his son,
minor issue from his marriage with Melite GAUTREAUX, daughter of Pierre GAUTREAUX, with appraisers Celestin BERGERON and Jean Louis
HEBERT, valued movables at $851.00, and a piece of land containing four arpents front on left bank of Bayou Terrebonne, with a depth
of twenty arpents, situated about three leagues from Bayou Lafourche, bounded above by land of Marcelin BERGERON and below by land of
Jean Louis HEBERT was appraised at $1000.00, for a total of $1852.00. There was an obligation of James PORTER, due March 1835 for
$1090 and another obligation of Michel BERNARD for $119.00.
No. 1592 Pgs. 198, 199 M/ 301 On March 25, 1835 appeared Mrs.
Josephine BABIN, wife of Jean Marie LEBOEUF, assisted by her husband, who declared she received from Hypolite LANDRY, through Adolphe
SEGHERS, the sum of $279.30, for her part in the succession of her father and mother, Joseph BABIN and Marguerite GAUDIN and said
Hypolite LANDRY through Celestin BERGERON, the sum of $64.84, in the succession of Charles GAUDIN, said Linocut and his wife the sum
of $103.61. She gives by these presents entire acquittance of Guardianship to Hypolite LANDRY, giving withdrawal, pure and simple, on
all mortgages, which might exist.
No. 1597 Pg. 203 M2/349 On April 8, 1835 appeared Mariane HEBERT wife of Philippe LANCON,
assisted by her husband, who declared that she had received from Mrs. Henry S. THIBODAUX, executrix of the succession of husband, the
sum of $205.08, due her in the succession of Auguste Florentin HEBERT, her brother, deceased, the amount rendered by Adolphe SEGHERS,
before the court of testimony dated September 22, 1834, giving withdrawal, pure and simple, of all mortgages that might exist in her
favor. Sum was not paid in cash money, but was subtracted from a sale of land to Mr. P. LANCON, dated January 11, 1831.

1600 Pg. 204 On April 6, 1835 Leufroy BARRAS went to the domicile of Jean M. DUPRE, to inventory movable properties belonging to the
community, which existed between Marcelin PICHOFF and Marie Marguerite DUPRE, deceased. In the presence of Marcelin PICHOFF, guardian
of minor child Paul, his son, and in his own name, Jean M. DUPRE, grandfather and deputy guardian of said Paul; William C. WATKINS
and Arthur A. VERRET as witnesses, valued inventory at $133.00.
No. 1601 Pg. 204-206 On April 10, 1835 Leufroy BARRAS in
conformity with the order of the court of testimony, in a family meeting, Laurent PICHOFF, John CONINGHAM, Gabriel LEBOEUF, Andre
CHIASSON and Hubert BELLANGER, to deliberate the interests of Paul PICHOFF, minor child of Marcelin PICHOFF and Marie Marguerite
DUPRE, deceased, agreed to sell movable properties, at auction.

PICHOFF and Clair TRAHAN, his wife, declared they sold, ceded, abandoned and delivered to Marcelin PICHOFF a piece of land situated
near Bellanger Canal containing one arpent front on left bank of Bayou Terrebonne, with depth of survey, bounded above by land of
Joseph MILONE and below by land of vendor, for $200.00. Witnessed by H. BELLANGER and Hubert M. BELLANGER.

206 On April 11, 1835, with a decree of the court of testimony, ordering an inventory of properties, debts and credits belonging to
the community, which lately existed between Pierre DUPRE, deceased, and Henriette ARCEMENT, Judge Leufroy BARRAS went to the domicile
of widow Pierre BRUNET, and in the presence of Mrs. Henriette ARCEMENT, widow BRUNET, with the guardian of Pierre Paul BRUNET child
issue from marriage of said BRUNET, Jean Baptiste DUPLANTI, deputy guardian of said minor and William C. WATKINS and Renaud
BOUDREAUX, legal witnesses, with Jerome DUPRE and Isidore DUPRE, appraisers, set value of $598.25, with $22.81 ½ in debts.

1604 Pg. 206, 207 On April 11, 1835 in conformity with the court of probates, of Terrebonne Parish, rendered this day, on the
petition of Jean Baptiste DUPLANTI, ordering an inventory be made, of all properties, belonging to the community, which existed
between said DUPLANTI and Marie Francoise BRUNET, his wife, deceased, Judge Leufroy BARRAS went to the domicile of Mr. DUPLANTI, with
him acting in his name and as guardian of his minor children; Marcelin, Joseph, Melazie and Arthemise, with Hubert BELLANGER as
subrogated tutor, and Marcelite DUPLANTI wife of Etienne MALBROUGH, acting in her name, having 1/6 of succession, of her mother, Jean
Baptiste DUPLANTI, Jr., acting in his own name, as having 1/6 right in succession of his mother. The appraisers are Renaud BOUDREAUX
and Joseph J. DARCE, witnessed by William WATKINS and Thomas BUFORD set value at $1476.62 ½.

11, 1835, in the 59th year of independence, Mrs. Anne Marie TYSON, widow of Jean MARS, who declared to have sold, ceded, abandoned
and delivered to August PICHOFF a certain piece of land, about one mile below Canal Bellanger, containing one-half arpent front on
each side of Bayou Terrebonne, with depth of survey, bounded above by land of vendress and below by land of widow TYSON, for $100.00.

No. 1606 Pgs. 207, 208 On April 13, 1835 according to a petition by
Leandre B. THIBODAUX, demanding a family meeting, of his minor children; Aglae, Bertus, Demosthenes, Elodie, Lea and Numa, all issue
from Adelaide BERGERON, deceased, present were Guillaume BERGERON, Marcelin BERGERON, Leandre CROCHET, Alexandre DUPRE and Henry
CROCHET, who declared that the property be adjudicated, at the price of appraisal of $6,500.00, and whereas Leandre B. THIBODAUX,
desiring to sell some land, wants to be able to mortgage a piece of land of eight arpents front, situated between the lands of WALKER
& CLIFTON and Fois BUQUET, which act passed this day. Witnessed by Norbert BONVILLAIN and Marcelin BABIN.

April 16, 1835 Leandre B. THIBODAUX declared land adjudicated to him at appraisal price, in order to assume portion, will come to his

No. 1617 Pg. 214 M 2/306 On April 21 1835 Mrs. Brigite BELLANGER, widow Henry S. THIBODAUX, declared she had
received $510.00 form William ASHLY, in consideration of a sale passed October 27, 1828, for a piece of land three arpents front, on
the right bank of Bayou Terrebonne, giving by these presents, full withdrawal of all mortgages concerning the above sale. Witnessed
by Bannon G. THIBODAUX and E. D. BURGUIERES.
No. 1618 Pg. 215 5/1015 On April 21, 1835 Jean Marie PITRE declared he sold,
ceded, abandoned, conveyed and delivered to Henri HOFFMAN a certain piece of land, for $160.00, paid cash in hand, land situated
about sixteen miles from Thibodauxville, containing one arpent front on right bank of Bayou Terrebonne, with a depth of four arpents,
bounded above by land of the vendor and below by the public road, which leads to Bayou Grand Caillou, being portion of a larger
quanity bought from widow Pierre MENOU, who acquired land in division of the estate of Pierre MENOU, her husband. Witnessed by
William SHAFFER and Alexander SARGENT.
No. 1619 Pgs. 215, 216 5/1016 On April 21, 1835 Pierre Bertin ROUSSEL declared that he
sold, ceced, abandoned and delivered to Francois BABIN, for $300.00 cash, a certain piece of land, situated in this parish, about six
miles from Thibodauxville, containing three arpents front, more or less, on right bank of Bayou Terrebonne, with depth of survey,
bounded above by land of Jean Baptiste RICHARD and below by land of Messrs. MOORE and BATEY. Witnessed by John BOYD and John RODDY.
No. 1620 Pg. 216 On April 21, 1835 Pierre Bertin ROUSSEL sold, ceded, abandoned and delivered six slaves to Leufroy BARRAS for
$3,000.00, as follows, a mulatto named Tony or Anthony age about 34 years, his wife Henrietta age about 34 years, and two children
Jane aged about 12 years and Charity about 10 years, also two of Henrietta’s children, May aged about 11 years and Betsy aged about 8
years. Leufroy BARRAS mortgage his land of 25 arpents front on each side of Bayou Terrebone, as well as the above mentioned slaves.

and his wife, Elise PREVOST declared that they sold, ceded, abandoned and transferred a certain piece of land to Jessy BATEY and
Henry C. THIBODAUX, for $500.00, cash in hand, land situated in Terrebonne Parish about Nine miles from Thibodauxville, containing
three arpens front on right bank of Bayou Terrebonne, with depth as the survey calls for, bounded above by land of Florentin BOUDREAU
and below by land of Paul BOUDREAU. Witnessed by Eleonore CROCHET and Evariste PORCHE.

29,1835 Mrs. Heloise FALGOUT widow of Edmond FANGUY declared she was justly indebted to Leon FALGOUT for the sum of $550.00, money
loaned to her, she mortgaged a certain negress named Melanie, aged about 26 years, with her child named Roselin. Witnessed by William
A. SHAFFER and Auguste H. VERRET.
No. 1631 Pg. 222 M 2/313 On April 27, 1835 Mrs. Heloise FALGOUT widow of Edmond FANGUY,
acting as guardian of her minor children, declared she had received from Leon FALGOUT the sum of $1020.00, being price of the negro
named Bill, bought at the auction of the properties of the community, which lately existed between herself and deceased husband,
giving withdrawal of mortgage. Witnessed by August H. VERRET and Marcel FALGOUT.

1835 Cerille HEBERT acknowledged that he received $40.00 from Mrs. Henry S. THIBODAUX, being the part that comes to him, in the
succession of Auguste Florentin HEBERT, her deceased brother, according to account rendered by A. SEGHERS, before the court of
testimony September 22, 1834, he giving by these presents, entire acquittance for said sum. Witnessed by A. H. VERRET and Alexandre
P. SARGENT.
No. 1633 Pg. 223 M 2/316 On April 28, 1835 Jean Baptiste BEAUSERGENT and his wife Marguerite BERGERON declared
they received $160.00 from Mrs. Henry S. THIBODAUX, being the balance due on a sale of land April 10, 1832, two Arpents front on
Bayou L’eau Bleue, and give acquittance and withdrawal of mortgage on land. Witnessed by Celestin BERGERON and J. B. LAPEROUSE.
No. 1634 Pg. 223, 224 5/1024 On April 28, 1835 Leandre CROCHET sold, ceded, abandoned and delivered a piece of land to Henry C.
THIBODAUX, three arpents on left bank of Bayou Terrebonne, with 20 arpents depth, bounded above by land of Mrs. H. S. THIBODAUX and
below by land of Florentin BOUDREAUX, for $1,000.00, paid in cash. Appeared Mrs. Magdeline BERGERON, his wife, agrees with sale.

No. 1635 Pg. 224 M 2/317 On April 28, 1835 Mrs. Henry S. THIBODAUX declared
that she had received $600.00 from Eleonore CROCHET, in consideration of a sale dated February 9, 1832, recorded No. 1145, giving
withdrawal of mortgage stipulated in sale. Witnessed by A. P. SARGENT and Leandre CROCHET.

1835 Henry Claiborne THIBODAUX declared that in consideration of the sum of $700.00 cash, he sold, ceded, abandoned and delivered to
Eleonore CROCHET a certain negress, slave for life, named Emelie, aged about 26 years. Witnessed by Alexandre P. SARGENT, Leandre
CROCHET.
No. 1637 Pg. 224, 225 5/1023 On April 28, 1835 Eleonore CROCHET declared that he sold, ceded, abandoned and delivered
to Leandre CROCHET a certain piece of land, about 15 miles from Bayou Lafourche, containing two arpents front on each side of Bayou
Terrebonne, with depth of survey, bounded above by land of Victoire BABIN and below by land of Polin CROCHET, for $600.00 in cash.

received $100.00 for the sale of a piece of land one and one-half arpents front, dated September 16, 1837, and by these presents,

May 1, 1835 Mrs. Marie Mariane VERRET widow Joseph DELAPORTE, acting as guardian of minor children, Alfred, Joseph and Marie Elvire,
who declared that desiring to receive for minors, the succession of Joseph DELAPORTE d. and Mrs. Marie Felicite BLOYET, his wife,
both d. about April, at Locmine, Department of Morbibou, France (children’s grandparents), as their father was only son of deceased,
and he d. April 29, 1835 in Terrebonne Parish, LA. She names her general and special procurator Mr. BLOYET of Auray, Department of
Moribou, in France, maternal uncle of Joseph DELAPORTE, deceased father of minors inhere named. Witnessed by Auguste H. VERRET and
Alexandre P. SARGENT.
No., 1644 Pg. 229 M 2/320 On May 2, 1835 Clemence GUIDRY w/o Alexander LIRETTE acknowledged she received
from Marguerite BERGERON, her mother, w/o Jean Baptiste BEAUSERGENT, the sum of $119.93, which is the part that comes to her, on the
succession of Jean Pierre GUIDRY, her father, deceased, according to the account rendered in the office of Judge, of this Parish,
giving full and entire acquittance for all she has claimed in the aforesaid succession. Witnessed by Celestin BERGERON.

1845 Pg. 229, 230 M 2/321 On May 2, 1835 Mrs. Marguerite CHOUASTRE widow of Jacques VERRET declares that her husband sold to
LAMOUREAU and LABADIE of Thibodauxville, a piece of land containing five arpents front on each side of Bayou Terrebonne, with depth
of survey, bounded above by land of Pierre Bertin ROUSSEL and below by land of Joseph MILONE, about one quarter mile above Belanger
Canal, land now in possession of William SHIELDS, she ratifies and confirms by these presents, the said act. Witnessed by A. H.
VERRET and P. SARGENT.

mother Marguerite BEGERON, being his part in the succession of Jean Pierre GUIDRY, his father, deceased, according to act rendered in

Pierre DUGAS, one fourth of succession, Pelegrin BOUDREAUX acting in the name of Anne Marie HENRY, daughter of Anne DUGAS, deceased,
w/o Jean Baptiste HENRI, the said wife of Renaud BOUDREAUX, one fourth of succession, and the seven children of Jean NAQUIN,
deceased. 1. Jean Charles NAQUIN, 2. Jean Marie NAQUIN, 3. Rosalie NAQUIN w/o Hypolite PITRE, 4. Hypolite NAQUIN, 5. Celeste NAQUIN
w/o Similien BOURG. 6. Francois NAQUIN, 7. Hyacinthe NAQUIN, together, having one fourth claim in succession. Desiring to divide a
certain piece of land, in this parish, having eight arpents front on each side of Bayou Terrebonne, bounded above by land of Jean
Pierre DUGAS, they divided land into four Lots, of two arpents each. Beginning from upper line, lots numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, in
descending, and after lots were drawn, lot #1 went to Mrs. Renet NAQUIN, widow Jean Baptiste DAIGLE, #2 went to Yves NAQUIN, #3 went
to Anne Marie HENRY and #4 went to the heirs of Jean NAQUIN. Witnessed by Charles DUPRE and Renaud BOUDREAUX.

235, 236 M 2/326 On May 16, 1835. On May 16, 1835, with a decree from the Court of Testimony, rendered on the petition of Henriette
ARCEMENT, widow Pierre BRUNET, ordering a “Family Meeting”, of the relatives of the minor Pierre Paul BRUNET, child issued from the
marriage of Pierre BRUNET and Henriette ARCEMENT, present were Louis ARCEMENT, Jean Baptiste BRUNET, Jean Baptiste DUPLANTI, fils,
Etienne MALBROUE and Charles DUPRE, who declared that the property of the community be sold at public auction. Also was approved by
Deputy-Guardian Jean Baptiste DUPLANTI, pere. Witnessed by Pierre Bertin ROUSSEL, Louis ARCEMENT, Jean Baptiste BRUNET and Pelegrin
BOUDRAUX.
No. 1656 Pg. 236 M 2/327 On May 16, 1835 appeared Henriette ARCEMENT, widow Pierre BRUNET, guardian of Pierre Paul
BRUNET, her son, and acting in her quality as administrator of the succession of Pierre BRUNET, deceased, who declared to have made
and constituted as his special procurator, Louis ARCEMENT, his brother, to do all she would be able to do herself as administrator of
the succession of Pierre BRUNET. Witnessed by Celestin BERGERON and Jean MALBROUE.

appeared Victoire Aspasie AUCOIN, wife of Jerome DUPRE, assisted and authorized by her husband, declares she sold to Pierre BRUNET,
by act dated June 23, 1832, a piece of land containing 2 ½ arpents front on each side of Bayou Terrebonne, with ten arpents depth on
each side, bounded above by land of Jerome DUPRE and below by land of Jean DUPRE and she wants to confirm and ratify the said sale,
in its entirety, and renounces all of her rights, according to law, now and forever. Witnessed by Pelegrin BOUDRAUX and Charles
DUPRE.
No. 1658 Pg. 237 COB Probate # 51 folio 237 et Seq. On May 16, 1835 a decree of Court of Probates, on petition of Jean
Baptiste DUPLANTI Sr. widower of Marie Francoise BRUNET, ordering a “Family Meeting” of the minors Marcelin, Joseph, Melasie and
Arthemise, minor children of issue of Jean Baptiste DUPLANTI and Marie Francoise BRUNET, deceased. Present were Louis ARCEMENT, Jean
Baptiste BRUNET, Charles DUPRE, Pierre Bertin ROUSSEL and Celestin BERGERON, who declared that the community property be sold at
public auction. Now appeared Hubert BELLANGER, subrogated tutor of minors, as well as Jean Baptiste DUPLANTI, Jr., one of the heirs,
of full age and Etienne MALBROUE, husband of Marcelite DUPLANTI, also an heir, representing his wife, who also approved of auction of
property. Witnessed by Isidore DUPRE and W. C. WATKINS.
No. 1667 Pg. 241 5/998 At New Orleans, LA on March 26, 1835 before
Hughes PEDESCLAUS, Notary Public for City of New Orleans, LA, came and appeared Lyttleton Stanford WATERS, a resident of New Orleans,
who declared that he sold, ceded and conveyed to Henry Claiborne THIBODAUX, a negress named Emilie, age about 31 years, belonging to
him by virtue of the acquisition made from Samuel PAXTON, according to act passed March 2, 1829, before Hugh K. GORDON, deceased,
then notary in this city. Sale made in consideration of the sum of $570.00, with $350.00 paid in cash, and $220.00 on account.

her mother, deceased, wife of Jean Louis HEBERT and also heir for one-seventh share in the succession of Auguste Florentin HEBERT,
her brother, deceased Terrebonne Parish. Antoine BOETO declared that he had received from Mrs. Henry S. THIBODAUX. Executrix of Henry
S. THIBODAUX, deceased, who was guardian of Claire HEBERT, as well as her deceased brother Auguste, the sum of $528.00, being that
which comes to her in the succession of Auguste Florentin HEBERT and also $568.27, from her mother’s succession, he gives withdrawal

HACHET and being turned over by the concessionaire to Mrs. Henry S. THIBODAUX, who exchanged it with the present vendor. Sale made in

1835 Rendered on the back of the petition of Marie SIVILE, widow of Pierre GAUTRAU, demanding that a meeting of the family of the
