Marrs of Kentucky. At the age of 3 years, she lost both of her parents and was adopted by an aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. John Stone of Canton, Mississippi. Caledonia Cornelia Marrs was educated at the Nazareth Academy of Bardstown. . . in 1848, married the late J.M.B. Tucker. To this union nine children were born, six of whom survive: Beverly, John M. of Shreveport LA, Mrs. Ernest Hertzog of St. Louis, Jas. B., Callie M., and Lily Maud. She is survived by two grandsons, Ernest and John Hertzog of St. Louis.

Survived by six children: Misses Ida and Sadie Nash and Richard Nash of Natchitoches, Mrs. Frank Bond of New Orleans, and Mesdames R.E. Stuart and Annette Nash of Dallas, Texas.
