Provencal Cemetery

Compiled by Nelda G. Liles, 1997-98

Location: From LA Hwy 117, turn east at the intersection onto LA Hwy 120, then immediately turn left north, go one block then turn right east, continue about four blocks, bearing left at the Y intersection; about two blocks to the cemetery. The older section of the cemetery is located on the right side of the street, the newer section on the left.

Those burials marked with asterisks are located in the newer section of the cemetery.

There are a number burials which are either unmarked or marked but with no names or dates. The cemetery is in an area of rolling hills and is well kept; azaleas have been planted in several of the family plots and they are in full bloom in the spring.

Most of the biographical information for the various persons interred in this cemetery was furnished by Miss Debbie Boswell and Mrs. Mary Williams. Many thanks for their assistance in compiling this listing.
