Weaver Cemetery

Located on LA Hwy 120 west of Flora, LA about two miles. Traveling on I49, take exit 132, travel west about fives miles to the village of Flora, LA. Continue on Hwy 120 about two miles west toward Provencal, LA. The Weaver Cemetery is on the left.

It is a large cemetery, fenced, well maintained, situated on a gentle hillside. It appears that most of the graves are marked, with the oldest marked burial date being in 1950. There are three graves marked only with metal funeral home type markers, from which the identifying papers have been removed by time and weather. Two graves adjacent to the grave site of Alfie Lee Gilcrease are marked with iron crosses and flowers, no inscription.

Convenient entrances are provided for foot traffic and for automobiles. While the cemetery is located immediately adjacent to the highway, a shady area is available for parking.
