Jerusalem Cemetery was read by Bill & Polly Holly on March 30, 1998. This cemetery, established in 1860, lies next to the New Jerusalem Baptist Church, is well maintained, but has no relationship to the church now. There are three visible graves that could not be identified. One lies within the fenced enclosure with the graves of Thomas David MILLING and Mary A. TEDDLIE-MILLING, Maria WALKER, and Maria MILLING. This grave has a stone but the name is gone, the date of birth is Sep 30, 1858 and date of death is ?, 13, 1860.

The second unidentified grave is a grave shaped pile of bricks, at the foot of this grave are the graves of Mary Lester PERKINS & Jessie Cloud PERKINS. At the head of this grave are the graves of Oits & Lois C. DICKERSON. There are no graves on either side of this unidentified grave.

The third unidentified grave is a grave shaped pile of stones, at the foot of this grave is the grave of Samuel Myrl RHYMES. At the head are the graves of B.F. TEDDLIE (1857-1935) and Thomas J. TEDDLIE. There are no graves to either side of this unidentified grave.

According to a history of the TEDDLIE family written by Reverend W. J. Teddlie in 1930 the following members of the TEDDLIE family are buried at Jerusalem Cemetery but we could not identify their graves: Willis TEDDLIE, Sarah "Aunt Sallie" TEDDLIE-MORRIS (b abt 1812 - d unknown), Mary Susan EMANUEL- TEDDLIE (b abt 1828 - d unknown) , and Nancy Evaline TEAGLE-TEDDLIE (b . 7 Nov 1836 - abt 1875)
