Hodge, Louisa

(Daughter of James Thomas Hodge and Palestine Box Hodge. There is no visible marker to identify the location of this grave, however, no less a person than Mrs. Mollie Hodge Carpenter, sister of Louisa, and wife of Dewitt Carpenter, showed her son, D. C. Carpenter, deceased well-known educator, where Louisa is buried. D. C. in turn showed W. E. Carpenter, Jr. where Louisa is buried. According to them, and I see no reason to doubt their story, Louisa is buried on the north side and next to her grandfather, Wisemon Box)
